Check this out .. searched for flights from Kuala Lumpur to Kota Kinabalu on Travala and the ticket price is at a whooping $5,096 !!! Which is insanely high and that is for Economy class not even business class tickets.
So I decided to go directly to the airline website and check it out .. same flight .. same day .. here was the results
Its around 10% of the quoted price from TRAVALA. Like what on earth is going on. Just because Travala may be one of the largest OTA ( Online Travel Agency ) which uses cryptoo out there .. they didn't have to misquote prices so crazy high.
I guess this is one of the reasons not many people are using Travala at this point .. well .. I could be wrong however .. these price differences are just ridiculous.
So do your research before buying flights or even hotels thru OTAs as I'm sure they would have banked in big on mistakes like these.
