Exactly. It would rather start with China/Taiwan or Russia testing NATO. In middle east, there's just not enough players and big players don't care that much. It's tested so many times and no WWIII.

Totally, but what this does is it makes a player like Russia more cornered, and we dont know what Putin might do if he feels really threaten.

I hope the west use this situation to put a lot more pressure on Russia.

Russia probably sees this as an opportunity as focus would shift away from Ukraine. Chaos in middle east would be something straight from Russia's playbook.
