I did some calcs factoring in the cost of workers and forests are a pretty good investment if you also need to add workers. All in all the ROI in this game is insane. I'm tossing a lot of my hive earnings into my city.

    You still have the "early bird special". Over time the ROI will go down for sure, 300% is insane. But even when the game matures to mid-life phase and ROI would settle around 50% it is a great investment and lotsa fun.
