We have seen this in our previous chain but the outcome as we all feared was of dishonor and distrust. As Justin Sun did a hostile takeover of STEEM and also locked and stole funds away from users.
Musk is not that person, we can tell or at least from what I seen he hates the SEC and he loves FREEDOM to say what ever the hell you want.
Now, I think I read some where that Musk was offered some Board seats when he purchased close to 10% of Twitter, he declined the offer.., my understanding is if he is board member he will be obligated to share and show care and growth for the company.. He did not like the idea of being shut off.
What did he do than? Well why not buy the whole damn company and make it private. is what he wants.

All I hear is how Twitter is scared but I kind of agree that he needs to take full control if he wants to change Twitter. Leaving in what was left there obviously wasn't going to work out very well.

Yes, some think Twitter is being taken over much like Steem was but this is a whole type of game.

It's strange. A month ago, he criticized Twitter for its failure to respect the principles of freedom of expression.

Yes correct twitter does not respect freedom of speech at the moment, once and if he is successful he will open source it, meaning he will make it even more free to express yourself.

I heard that he has just bought a stake in twitter. Now he is wanting to take the company private. That's if the offer is accepted by twitter. I'm not sure if the owner of twitter is going to sell or not. It's difficult to know what they're thinking !
Push come to shove, some might want to bail.
I think Elon Musk's takeover will increase the excitement. But I still want Twitter to belong to the community. Its removal from a center will increase the excitement even more.
