It has been 25 days since my last update post (Link) on the game covering the launch on the Apple IOS & Google Play Store and quite a lot has happened since.
Clash of Streamers Game Update
For as far as the game goes, everything for me is working really well and the overall experience is very polished and satisfying. They are currently reworking the tutorial since the data points they used to optimize the user retention during the alpha testing days were mostly based on users already knowing the game. This made the tutorial way too fast-paced and confusing for new outside and the retention numbers, not at a point where doing mass marketing would make sense. The tutorial should soon be reworked playing out over several days properly introducing the general game loop of progressing in the campaign tower while leveling up streamers and playing mini-games also doing the weekly events.
Once this is done, the plan is to start increasing the advertisement properly marketing the game. Players now also are forced to add their selfie (or a picture) as data shows this drastically increased the retention rate and they also plan on optimizing the notifications using "youtube thumbnail clickbait" tactics on those.
Opensea.io NFT Integration
They started working with Opensea.io to integrate their NFTs onto the platform and it looks like the Pets are already showing on the website (looks like it is very early stage). Example NFT
I keep being drawn back to the game daily as it's all just really addictive and aim to have some NFTs exported to the blockchain over time without really investing anything. I did get suckered into purchasing the Season pass for 5.49€ which is the best deal in the game as I will be able to renew it for free next season and get VIP Level 2 which gives a ton of extra daily rewards and more crypton which is needed to export heroes and pets. I'm still in the process of figuring everything out but once I do, I'll make some tutorial posts about it.
So basically the game right now is still in somewhat of te test stage where work is being done to optimize everything before going over to onboarding more players.
PRPS & DUBI Update
25 Days ago the price PRPS & DUBI (the coins integrated into the game) was at 3.47$ and it has gone up to 4.05$ by now which is a +16.7% increase while the Crypto market in general has quite a crash. The developers announced that they would start to buy their own coins increasing the price by 1 level (0.60%) each day for 100 days until it reaches Level 194 (6.35$). From what it looks like, they are directly buying from the sell-wall they are providing so the ones that undercut that price trying to sell won't get their orders matched. Getting DUBI instead fixes this (with the downside that it can't be locked to get passive returns) as the keep providing a buy-wall at the price of the latest level that was reached.
Looking at the chart of PRPS in dollar value, it pretty much is doing what it was designed to do which is going up in price steadily.

Yeah, it's all quite confusing at the moment but they are fixing it and once you get a hang of it it's actually really addictive.
It's not a game like the other crypto play2earn 'games'/schemes which would all instantly drop 99% of their player base the moment the rewards collapse. Clash of Streamers is made as a game literally for the masses to get addicted to tapping around getting a dopamine rush at some point being hit by a wall where they either have to wait until the next day to get new free gems to progress or by spending some microtransactions. The difference with other of these types of mobile games (which billions of dollars are being spent on) is that you are able to export your heroes/pets onto the blockchain and sell / buy them from others (you can see heroes/pets as splinterlands cards or Axies in that way). In order to export you need Crypton which is one of the many virtual in-game currencies the game works with. You start passively generating Crypton a bit later in the game after a couple weeks already and it also comes with microtransaction deals. PRPS and DUBI also are integrated into the game (they can't be earned it the game right now but it might get integrated at some point. There is a lot of slots and gambling mini-games and the plan is to at some point start dropping real prizes to players). Anyway, everything in-game can be bought with them getting +30% extra bang for your buck (especially aimed at whales) and what those coins are being burned. It also is possible to include those into heroes to make them stronger but I'm not exactly sure how that works now.
Basically, the way I see it, being invested in PRPS equals being invested in the game betting on it taking off and doing well the coming years as this would increase the demand for the token. The tokenomics also just really reward getting in early and I have no trust issues toward the team that is creating the game and future projects that will work with these coins.
I really just enjoy zooming out playing the game 5 minutes a couple of times during the day (it's designed for short sessions). I am also grinding my way up during that time hopefully being able to get some Maxed out heroes getting enough crypton to export them and possibly sell them. There is no guarantee that they will be worth a lot though but it certainly is a possibility.

Yes, I am tapping like mad, for more than five minutes yesterday. Today I didn't start the game yet which I consider a small victory :)
As I see it I need to level the Best game to the max to be able to see all the in-game currencies. Starting with gems that are really plentiful.
