Tesla, recently purchased $1.5 Billion USD worth of Bitcoin on Monday, February 8, 2021. Tesla was instantly popular and became a hot topic among the public, especially for bitcoiners in the world.
Tesla filed documents with the SEC of America about the purchase of Bitcoin intended to diversify payments and become the company's digital asset for the long term. In addition, the Tesla company plans to accept payments in the form of Bitcoin in the purchase of Tesla Cars, if this is true then Tesla is the first car company to receive payments using cryptocurreny in the world.
Tesla hopes that this plan to receive payments in the form of crypto can be realized and of course remain compliant with applicable laws. This is certainly one of the driving factors in bitcoin's price soaring to $45,463.64 USD today and set the latest record price of Bitcoin in All Time High yesterday by exceeding the figure of $48K USD, even Tesla's stock price was also boosted by more than 2 percent last Monday.
CEO of Tesla, Elon Musk having much power in cryptocurrencies world, evident in his Twitter tweets about Doge, immediately the price of Doge Coin soared to the price of 0.065$ USD and this is the highest price ever experienced by Doge coin, after which Elon Musk made a tweet and listed the hashtag #Bitcoin on his Twitter Bio and again proved the price of Bitcoin soared to 21% at that time.
