Some people see it as free money and can't wait to get their paws on them to sell them before the mass dump that normally follows an air drop. This never made sense to me as why get rid of something you got for free as it has cost you nothing.
People talk about having crypto to be able to give them financial freedom at some point, but the majority are just bull shitters kidding themselves. We saw how many airdrops we have had on Hive over the years and it would be interesting as a percentage how many users are still holding those coins. Many sell them and see it as free money and don't even stake the rewards on another coin as cash is better in the pocket. Here today and gone tomorrow attitudes that will most likely cost many missing out with what could have been and they will end up with nothing.
Pal was the first one that was airdropped and I can remember getting about 780 coins of which I have added to the stake and have over 4000 today. Leo was dropped against users who held their Pal stake and many missed out on Leo for short term greed. Some sold their Leo not thinking it would amount to much and how wrong they were.
I think the only coin I sold via the air drop was DPorn and had no interest in holding it. Blurt wasn't really an airdrop so that was different and there was no ways I could keep that as if a coin could go to 0 then that is a prime candidate. Everything else I have basically accepted and parked off in my Leodex garage as they have cost me nothing so why sell them?
Anyway the reason for this post is can you believe it Pal is bringing out a white paper and there is something happening. Inflation is dropping by 75% and there is a Dapp that will support Pal. Who knows what it is and yes @trumpman there is a reason for staking Pal these days. I never forgot your post a while ago when you mentioned it was free money and God knows who is buying Pal, but they did. You even got me questioning why I was staking it lol. Now everyone has a reason to stake it.
I think this goes to prove that we never know what is going to happen next as who would have thought Pal would be up to something. I must admit I have a weak spot for the Peace, Abundance and Liberty community and how they ran the minnow support project helping small users grow.
I see Pal is up by over 60% today and will most likely be on the up now so cheap Pal has now all gone never to be seen again. I am really stoked as my Leodex Dollar value is going through some serious overhauling already and it as predicted will overtake my Hive account value at some point in the future and at this rate won't take that long either.

Looks like I have just about half the PAL tokens that you do. I have been holding onto mine for quite some time too. I am guessing either I gained some more over the years or I must have sold some of my LEO a long time ago because the two numbers are not adding up at all. Not sure I feel like digging back through my logs to see which it was. I know better now and I will be holding as long as it is feasible.

I may have sold some Leo at some point as well as my numbers don't stack up either. Just have to buy what I sold back at a higher price and lessons to be learned.

Yeah I was reading about this yesterday, I'm so glad to see that this token is moving forward. I have been tempted to sell it but never did. Today has been very frustrating, I'm busy as hell at work and everytime I try to catch you up on Leo somebody interrupts me.

Lol. That happens as shit does happen. Today I was at the office and a huge storm hit knocking the electricity out so there was no computer from around 10 am this morning until when we left this evening. Glad you guys are busy though as not many are right now.

I think that you need to hold them. You never know the value that they go up but if they do tend to go down you didn't really pay for him you got them for free so you didn't lose out
i usually sell my pal, now i will keep it to see what's going to happen further :p
