Just voted and believe this has to happen. Hive is like a top secret block chain that very few know about and that is wrong. Sometimes you wonder if that is done on purpose so a few can benefit even more. I am sure that is not the case as a higher user base benefits everyone.

I don't think it is done on purpose, but people focus on where they are comfortable. Devs aren't marketers.
