I was so tired last night that all I wanted to do was rest. Usually, I check my feed and some charts to stay updated on the coins I follow. But recently, I’ve been checking them less and less because I feel like it’s making me even more exhausted. Haha. The charts used to make me feel excited about the future of crypto, but I don’t feel that way much anymore. :(

Maybe I’m just getting too emotional because the current run isn’t meeting the expectations I set last year. The lesson I’ve learned is that I can’t really rely on history to make assumptions about future events in crypto. Otherwise, it would be too easy, right?
Investing in this space requires determination and tenacity to get through the price swings. This is probably the most difficult part of crypto investing: not getting affected by the price movements of the coins I’m holding. The risk of investing in coins is something one should be prepared to accept as soon as they decide to buy in. Staying on track is also a key thing to remember.
Back in the previous cycle, I used to invest in lesser-known coins, which were considered riskier. I never intended to stick with them long-term. Whenever I felt I could earn a 10 to 20 percent profit, I’d sell right away. It worked most of the time, though I did take losses on some trades. It was fun for a while, but eventually, I got tired of it. It’s exhausting to constantly check charts and monitor how the coin is doing. I'm not an expert in technical analysis, so I mostly relied on gut feeling, which isn’t ideal. I was lucky in most cases back then, but not so much this time. LOL.
Although I’ve changed my strategy and now invest in coins I believe have long-term potential, I still find myself wondering when (or if) they’ll actually reach the price I expected. I feel like I need to lower my expectations and be more realistic. Nowadays, a 10x or 100x gain feels out of reach, unlike in previous seasons when some analysts were even predicting 1000x returns. I guess that’s unlikely to happen anytime soon. I may need to hold for more than a few cycles, or it might not happen at all.
Anyway, these are just some thoughts that have been lingering in my head, so I decided to let them out. I don’t want to keep overthinking it. LOL.
Investing in crypto is a journey filled with ups and downs, and it's okay to feel uncertain at times. What matters most is staying grounded, learning from each experience, and adjusting expectations as the market evolves. I'm sharing this to remind myself—and maybe others—that patience and perspective are just as valuable as any coin we hold.

It's hard to shut off completely when my broker apps start blaring out all kinds of alerts to me everyday the minute the US market opens. 🤣
As for crypto, well that comes hand in hand too, especially when I'm invested in some of the crypto related stocks.
Absolutely relatable. The emotional rollercoaster of crypto is real. Charts can drain you, especially when the market isn’t moving how you hoped. Thanks for sharing this honest reflection, it’s a solid reminder that patience, perspective, and realistic expectations are key in this space. You're not alone in feeling this way. Keep going. 👊

It's not easy to stay on track, monitoring the crypto market also sometimes doesn't guarantee success because while you decide to take a little nap the market may just go bad within 1hr without prior notice, or it can also boost in profit and you might be too deep asleep to notice.
Investing in crypto is like a gamble. It is full of risk and you always need patience!
Now a days more people investing in cryptocurrency or trading I use to do that but I need to learn about more in crypto.. I lost a lot I'm trading but it's my mistake for that excitement I don't think to learn more before trade... Happy to read like this article... Is a lot of people earning in crypto... Goodluck and godbless..
I have no idea about crypto, but as I observed this always about gaining but one thing I've learned was before we can gain we must have a patient for waiting.
I used to think crypto was all about fast gains and exciting profits, but now I realize there's so much emotion and patience involved too. I can imagine how exhausting it must be to keep checking charts every day.
I think crypto has gone mainstream now and it doesn't do massive pumps like last time.
What would those projects that have long term prospects be? Care to share?

Agree on patience, must be careful of ending up with more haste, less pace
