Bitcoin just shot up almost $2k in the last hour to a new ATH over $49,290 on the Coinbase chart. Another technical breakout. Some psychological resistance at $50k but technical analysis points to $54k as the next stopping point if it confirms this breakout.

Yes, in hindsight, hopefully it will be. Kinda of a big deal right now though staring everyone in the face. People tend to like "order" and round numbers. $50k is a nice, big, fat, round number. Halfway to $100k. I expect it will take a few runs at it to break through but...no doubt in my mind its coming. And sooner rather than later.
