I don't think I would call it a shift per se. I just think Hive is a blockchain who has paid it's dues and it's time has come. Quality eventually rises and Hive is quite possibly the single highest quality blockchain in existence. Just a fact.

Hive is what Vitalik and Hoskinson are trying to build.
Just let Blocktrades spin up the smart contract platform he mentioned and we will be good to go.
