Denn lediglich eine kleine Gruppe zelebriere den Reichtum: protzige Spitzensportler, Showgrößen, Unternehmer, Erben, und andere Reiche, die sich ungeniert feiern.
Ansonsten schätzen die meisten Reichen vor allem eines: Diskretion. Alles andere führe zu Problemen.
„Als meine Eltern mir ihr Vermögen übertrugen, berichteten die Zeitungen darüber. Plötzlich meldeten sich alte Schulkollegen. An einige konnte ich mich erinnern, an andere nicht“, berichtet ein Millionär der „NZZ“, schmunzelnd.
Mit manchen traf sich der Millionär noch, am Ende aber wollten alle, dass er in die ein oder andere Geschäftsidee investiere. Daher der Rat der Reichen untereinander:
„Sag niemandem, wie reich du wirklich bist.“
Aus dem wichtigsten Rat unter Reichen folgen noch weitere Ratschläge, wie etwa „Stelle dein Geld nicht zur Schau“. Nur so lasse sich vermeiden, dass immer neue falsche Freunde auftauchen.
„Reiche fahren oft kein teures Auto, sondern einen Mittelklassewagen, der dann drinnen den größtmöglichen Komfort bietet.“ Meist ziere auch nur eine normale Uhr das Handgelenk, mehr nicht.
Generell, so heißt es aus Bankerkreisen, würden Reiche oft ein vergleichsweise bescheidenes Leben führen – und wären damit zufrieden.
Tue Gutes - und rede darüber
John Davies von der amerikanischen Reichen-Beratung Cambridge Family Enterprise Group, rät Reichen deswegen immer häufiger dazu gutes zu tun, und ganz offen über gute Dienste, Wohltätigkeit und Spenden zu reden. So nehme man eine Vorbildfunktion ein.

Mein persönliches Fazit:
Wirklich reich wird man nur, wenn man der Gesellschaft einen Dienst erweist. Der Gesellschaft einen Dienst erweist oder eine Dienstleistung die gebraucht wird.
Deshalb bin ich der Meinung, dass Selfmade-Millionäre es verdienen, reich zu sein.
Meine persönliche Erfahrung mit Millionären in den 5 Jahren meiner Selbständigkeit ist, dass diese sehr am Boden geblieben sind. Keiner dieser wohlhabenden Kunden hat mit seinem Vermögen geprahlt. Aber alle stellten die gleichen Anforderungen: Ehrlichkeit und Zuverlässigkeit
In meiner näheren Umgebung beobachte ich jedoch, wie die Pflanze des Neides immer größer wird... 🧐🤔

You only become truly rich if you do a service to society. Providing a service to society or a service that is needed.
That's why I believe self-made millionaires deserve to be rich.
My personal experience with millionaires in the 5 years of being self-employed is that they remain very down to earth. None of these wealthy clients have bragged about their wealth. But they all had the same requirements: honesty and reliability
However, in my immediate surroundings I am observing how the plant of envy is getting bigger and bigger... 🧐🤔

Aber auch jeder Bürger hat die Möglichkeit, ein Unternehmen zu gründen. Man muss nur den Mut dazu haben.

Human nature at its most predictable ... why the rich eventually move off to rich neighborhoods and then do other exclusionary things is partially explained by that poison plant that primarily poisons the life chances of the ones who plant it.
So, they are envious ... but they are not interested in learning what they can so they can participate, not just be envious, are they? The question is rhetorical, of course!
You're absolutely right. I offer everyone to follow my blog and learn something to become a little richer themselves.
But for the envious, it's just easier to badmouth the successful instead of painstakingly acquiring knowledge.
I always say that you have to invest 1000 hours to understand investing. Very few people have this stamina.
In my eyes, envious people are all socialists.
