I even cannot remember how @janton came up with this name. Maybe because we have been talking about hiking and such πŸ˜‰
I'm a peaceful mountain goat and would never hurt friends, you are very right 😁

You are one kind soul my friend and I view the name that Janton gave you as an honor to you. It clearly shows your balance in life.

If the name was in any way derogatary I would not use it at all.

Peace to you brother!

Cheers and thanks!

Haha, here we say "you can call me anything, but not working" - I don't know if that makes any sense in English πŸ˜‰

Cheers and !BEER

I think it will make sense in English to use the double"not".
As in, "you can call me anything but, not, not working" lol.
That will mean that you are not lazy hahaha.

What does it mean in German?

Cheers and thanks!

But with the double "not" it would mean the opposite πŸ˜‰

German is complicated, we said this before, but it can get even more complicated with the word "heißen" ...

Ich heiße Johann = I am Johann, my name is Johann
Ich heiße dich willkommen = I welcome you
Ich heiße dich deine Arbeit zu machen = I tell you to do your Work

So...

Du kannst mich alles heißen, aber nicht arbeiten = you can call me anything, but not working

I told you I'm no teacher and please forget the above and don't call a doctor, I'm fine πŸ€ͺ

Looks a bit like a madhouse that the word "heiben" with the fancy "B". So many different meanings.

But I know that some English words also have multiple meanings.

Crane: the bird is a Crane; they had to get a Crane to lift the object; she had to Crane her neck.
Break: I will break a leg, means physical; or I will take a tea break (Non physical)

These are only two of many that I can think of right now!

The closest that I can come to a meaning here is that "You can call me anything, it does not matter"???

By the way, I think that we have a few German doctors here hahaha.

Cheers and thanks!
