RE: DAOs: The Future Of Work

in LeoFinance3 years ago

For a fact work will no longer determine our lifestyles

Automation may seem like a bad thing now, with time we will appreciate it's existence

Defi is gradually changing the way we commit our money, time, and resources

The same thing that happened with the advent of the internet is what we will be witnessing with defi

Those who want to be a part of the process will grow and progress

While those who come around as extractors will be shunned as you said

It is left for each person to decide where he stands

For the world is moving at a very fast pace, and getting left behind should not be in our dictionary

That which is automated is appreciated already. Look at the decline in defects with automobiles as compared to 40 years ago. And look at the increase in quality.

Much of that was due to automation. Sucked for the workers in those plants of course but for the end user, it is a benefit.

Same thing with switchboard communications. Things happened a lot faster when people were removed from that job.

I agree

Automation has really improved a lot of devices that we use daily

And it does benefit then end users, and takes jobs from the workers

Looking at the pace things are happening so fast, a lot of persons need to step up their skill, if they do not want to be left behind

The challenge is what skills does one acquire. Entire industries can be obliterated in a manner of a decade.

What is going to be around in 10-20 years that one should focus upon? That is a tough question.

I imagine skills for the sake of generating an income are just about obsolete in regard to the masses.

If humanity is entering its retirement phase won't we all just be sitting around playing pinochle?

Considering other discussions we've had, based on ideas you've floated, it seems people without a useful skill set will likely end up being data generators to feed the soon to be all knowing AI warlord that unites all the blockchains under one coin.

When organizations like habitat for humanity and others realize the power of this tech there will be entire communities of seriously dedicated people springing up all over & coming together to ensure everyone has a full stomach and a warm, dry, safe place to sleep.

Basically, think of all the greatest humanitarian efforts from history coming together VOLTRON STYLE and throwing down a BLAZING SWORD grade ass kickin' to poverty and hunger.

Yes, this is true.

If humanity is entering its retirement phase won't we all just be sitting around playing pinochle?

Of course, that would be the case.

In my programming class, we call this data science. It is where the crowd is flocking to you recently. We want to bring the AI into full swing, and we are trying everything humanly possible

Oops, I just said that, and you have confirmed it. Everyone will definitely want to be a part of this. In short, there are already beginning to prepare in anticipation

Hahaha.....very funny but worth picturing
