A Few Useful Tools To Help You Monitor Your Evolution And Keep You Safe

This morning, while reading some posts and comments I've realized we, the old users can do much more to help the younger generation. The comment I've read used the expression the Splinterland generation and made me realize some tutorials would be useful as there's no way they can know everything. We don't know everything either and we're here for four, five years now. The community is as strong as the weakest link.

To save you from wasting hours figuring things out, I thought I'd put together a tutorial with a few useful tools.

Leofinance is on the Hive blockchain, every Leofinance user is getting both HIVE and LEO, so in this post I'm going to cover both.

HP APR Monitoring Tool

The other day a friend of mine contacted me on Discord, asking for some help regarding the APR we're getting for the Hive power we have staked in our wallets.

For those of you, who are brand new on the chain, you get 3.24% APR for your Hive Power. Your wallet doesn't reflect the transactions, but you can check the tool above mentioned, https://hive.nuthman.com/ to see how much is added to your HP. As I see there's a certain amount added, every five seconds.

There's a 10% APR as well for holding HBD in savings, which you can see by checking your wallet. You are able to see how much HBD you have in savings. When you withdraw your HBD, there's a 3 day waiting period for security reasons. Right now in case you withdraw your HBD from savings, the withdrawn amount is not visible anywhere, but I've made a suggestion and @ asgarth has promised to work on updating the wallet, so the withdrawn amount to be visible till the process is over and your HBD .nd in your wallet.

For those of you who are not familiar with how things work in finance, this is a great earning opportunity. In most countries banks pay interest as little as 1% or in some countries there are negative interests already. Take advantage of it.

Hivestats

Leofinance has a very cool tool, called HiveStats, which gives you the opportunity to see pretty much everything you want, your HIVE stats, LEO stats and all the tribe tokens as well.

Hivebuzz

https://hivebuzz.me Here's another free tool to check your ranking, based on reputation, HP, HBD, Savings etc. It's nice to see from time to time how much you have grown, set targets and follow them.

Hivetasks

https://hivetasks.com/ is another free tool you can use. Just add your username https://hivetasks.com/@yourusername, and it's ready to use.

Hiveblocks

Another free tool, that among the common things it lets you check your witness list and most of all, you can check how many dapps you've grated access to your keys.

HiveVote

Another free tool, especially important in case you want to use the autovote and vote trail option. Not everyone have the time or is willing to vote manually. In this case, you have the Fanbase option for autovoting and Curation trail for following the trail of a curation project for example.

Hive-Now

This is a tool created by our friend @ penguinpablo, who's posting stats on Leofinance. You can check a bunch of things here, like voting power, downvoting power, RC,daily rewards, etc.

Hive keychain is a Chrome extension you can use to manage your keys, especially useful if you have multiple accounts.

Hivesigner

The other is Hivesigner.

Warning! Scammers are usually asking you to sign in to an external website, using your keys. As soon as you type or paste your keys using their link, your account is compromised, or lost forever. This is why don't trust any link or site that doesn't let you sign in with Keychain or Hivesigner. Most if not all the dapps on the Hive blockchain are working with these dapps.
