the longer they wait on releasing it the more time I have to gather up Leo before it shoots to the moon and becomes harder to earn :)

Indeed, that's the right attitude. Once it is announced, the price may go up, although this is not news, everyone knew it's coming and most of us did what we could to accumulate as much as possible. I guess we'll see how much the last minute buys will modify the market price.

I actually think LEO will be a bit easier to earn when blank is released.
I think we see a lot more activity on there, which will lessen the activity on here, at least in the short term.
We will see how it plays out.

In USD terms it does but in terms of number of LEO doled out, no it does not.
What happens is as price goes up, more people get involved which the growth rate dilutes the reward pool. Thus we get less LEO but more in USD terms.
That said, I have a feeling that blank will draw a lot of people away from Leo which will leave more there for those who remain.
We have to be honest a lot of the posts that are put up are better suited for microblogging as opposed to long form.
The cool thing is there will still be rewards with short form in both blank and hive. It is a proof of brain app so people can still be rewarded.

I think the price action will draw more people to Leo than those that will leave for project blank, but we'll see :)

That is true but the tolerance for anything less than long form content will be less once blank is released. We will have dedicated areas for each type of activity.
Thus if someone is trying to scalp the reward pool by just putting up a video link with a few words, then that will get downvoted.
For those who are doing videos and long form articles (in addition to curating) will benefit.
I think it will create a better system overall, providing different types of content creators the ability to excel in the areas where their talents are.

Yea I am impatient also. It does give us more time to accumulate LEO for the awaited airdrop. I want a more perfected platform over a rushed platform so I understand the need for waiting.
