Price is secondary in my opinion. Over time, the network effect will take hold.
Of course, there is a different between those who have trading accounts and the long term growth.
Those trading like the volatility, those adding to their long term holdings will not care as much.
If Hive goes to 10 cents or 40 cents, the activity appears it will be the same. At the same time, for long term token success, it will require a lot more users for, in part, the reason you mention.
Of course, for those in Bitcoin, that is a totally different matter altogther.

The other thing is you are able to compound your holding through activity. By posting and commenting, you can earn more of both tokens. Once you start to get some powered up/staked, you then can earn some curation for upvoting other's content. This is especially true on LEO where you earn half of your vote value.

With the bitcoin correction it is a good opportunity to buy again leo and hive, currently btc just touched support at 48k and is getting a big bounce so I think it will not fall anymore and start the rise ..
Hive also just broke some supports but gets a big bounce at 23 cents, let's see if we can break the 3 immediate resistances to get back above 30 cents.
I repeat again it is a great buying opportunity.

I also think it is a great buying opportunity. I think things can always go down in the short term and ignoring it is foolish. So if you are buying, come in with a plan and have some extra cash on the side to average down. Especially if you are bullish on the future of the asset.

Indeed, that's the right attitude. Once it is announced, the price may go up, although this is not news, everyone knew it's coming and most of us did what we could to accumulate as much as possible. I guess we'll see how much the last minute buys will modify the market price.

I think we see a lot more activity on there, which will lessen the activity on here, at least in the short term.

In USD terms it does but in terms of number of LEO doled out, no it does not.
What happens is as price goes up, more people get involved which the growth rate dilutes the reward pool. Thus we get less LEO but more in USD terms.
That said, I have a feeling that blank will draw a lot of people away from Leo which will leave more there for those who remain.
We have to be honest a lot of the posts that are put up are better suited for microblogging as opposed to long form.
The cool thing is there will still be rewards with short form in both blank and hive. It is a proof of brain app so people can still be rewarded.

That is true but the tolerance for anything less than long form content will be less once blank is released. We will have dedicated areas for each type of activity.
Thus if someone is trying to scalp the reward pool by just putting up a video link with a few words, then that will get downvoted.
For those who are doing videos and long form articles (in addition to curating) will benefit.
I think it will create a better system overall, providing different types of content creators the ability to excel in the areas where their talents are.

I like to see articles like that when they promote a point of view.
To start, there are huge differences within a state. For example, living in a major city as compared to in a rural area equates to a radical difference. Then, you add in the fact the birth rate has plummeted to the point that we are not even replacing ourselves shows that the two parents and two kids doesnt truly apply.
That said, I know so many people who are screwed because they are living above their means. They lease/finance expensive cars, have top end IPhones, and order out a number of times a week.
Anyway, wee will see how well they are faring when their jobs are automated out. At $15, compared to $7.25, there is twice the incentive for corporations to get rid of jobs. Corporations will not hesitate to lay off as they automate a particular sector.

Yea at least there is actual data in this article. People are screwed because corporations are all about the profits and Congress steals more money than you get from a wage increase as it benefits their donors. If $15 is not reasonable for half the country, then $30 will not be reasonable for half of the states in 5-10 years.
Work from home has allowed many of the richer people to move out to lower paid areas and displace them. This means I fully expect rent and other costs to go up in the the places where $7.25 is fine.

The stock market drop was expected. Do you know how many insiders were selling every single week? Huge amount of shares were sold and it seemed like they couldn't sell enough. Cash out when the price is high and buy back in when it's lower. The CEOs thought the price were too high.

It will happen at some point. I think there are other things they are trying to get in order before heading to the different centralized exchanges.
I would say we see a small one within the next 90 days and then work up from there.
The greater the value of the overall platform, the greater the likelihood of acceptance by exchanges.
There is also going to be a number of liquidity pools added in my opinion. Ethereum is not the only LP we are going to see.

We will have to see what unfolds. LBI to LEO is already in place, so I am not sure a pool is needed. Liquidity might be an issue but outside of that, there is already a direct swap on Hive.
The key is the possibilities are starting to grow. We are going to see a great deal more wealth created through opportunities like this. It is going to get very exciting around here.
We will see hundreds of millions of dollars locked up on Hive at some point. We will replicate Ethereum to a degree.

A token can be linked to anything - exchanges , games , casinos etc . BEE is the token of Hive-engine. There is no way to earn it unless you are a witness I guess. You just have to buy them .

BEE is used to create tokens, tribes and a bunch of other things. Even adding in staking, delegations and etc all require BEE. It's the building block of HE similar to how HIVE is for HP. The only exception is that when you use it, I believe it is consumed for good.

I know , my app said it has 138% APR ( that too at 3.5 Hive price ) but I just got to know that the payment is has been made for 2 weeks at once . But still 68% APR right now according to the calculations . It is sustainable?

Yeah I know there is some tie into doing some type of food delivery so there is outside money coming in to purchase Hive.
It is an interesting concept and one I think Raymond from BRO is also looking at.
From my perspective, buy and hold. The payouts, regardless of the APY, will end up giving me my money back plus some.
So it is worthwhile to pick up a few tokens like that especially if they are starting to bring fiat from the outside.
