🧵/1 Do kids really need privacy? How long should parents keep the open-door policy? At what point do we allow children take control of their private lives without losing track of them? What is the right balance between trust and guidance?

🧵/2 I believe kids need privacy but not complete independence. Giving them space builds confidence and responsibility but too much freedom without guidance can expose them to harm. Parents should find the balance, privacy with boundaries and guidance without suffocating control.
