I was finally able to make it at the start of an event and picked up some packs myself. The PP issue aside, I felt that the launch went smoothly, and the staff was very attentive and responsive in Discord.
This game will be a slow burn just as Splinterlands was and I think it'll be big. They just need to keep pushing to get the word out, as some here on Hive weren't aware of the game. Which is why posts such as this are really helpful. I do wonder what the closed beta access with 100 packs purchased offers, and plan to keep adding to my pack stash. Anybody else?

Awesome stuff, congrats on picking up some packs. Its certainly not easy to beat the timer sometimes. One never knows if an event will be sold out in seconds/minutes or days. I think slow burns stick around the longest. I assume closed BETA testing will be on a site that clones the Play2Earn game in which game mechanics can be tested on before being released.
