I will let you in on a little secret today! Search Engines use social signals to rank pages and websites. Domain Authority (DA) is a metric that decides the probability of a website ranking higher or lower on the search engine result page (SERP). Good DA is required if you want to rank higher than your competitors. Similarly, if you want to rank a particular Web Page, then it has to have a good Page Authority (PA). Increased social signals indicate that a website or its web pages have good DA or PA.
Likes, comments, and shares/retweets on social networks are directly correlated to the site's ranking. Check out the below image that shows the average number of social signals top-ranking sites are getting. This goes to show how sharing the link of your blog on social media websites is beneficial to improving the Domain Authority of LeoFinance.io and the Page Authority of your URL.
The thought behind this is pretty simple - A search engine wants to give you the best possible results based on your query. If the relevant URL is shared more on social media websites like Facebook and Twitter then there is a high probability that it is a great piece of content since many people are either sharing it or engaging with it. Google puts such links higher on the Search Engine Result Pages (SERPs) as compared to others. A good tip is to follow other hive users that you follow here as well, then you also start getting recommendations of people who follow you that you may not follow yet, etc. Supporting each other on both places is a great value give to both the people involved and the whole ecosystem.

Just wanted to mention how nice it is to see you do well on both hive and twitter. I still remember when I followed you on both places early on and the contrast from then to now is amazing. It may or may not rank your post's URL but it does help the overall domain i.e leofinance.io. Based on these signals google will rank the domain higher or lower as compared to its competitors on the search page.
