So basically, in countries where crypto is not considered legal, the way a user talks about their investment in a shitcoin could be considered promotion. So if they are seen as promoting unregistered securities, they could be sued just like the SEC is infact doing. So I understand why Eric and other presenters often say that they are not giving financial advice. That is like a disclaimer. And I am learning that too especially when advising someone about crypto investments.

They talk in a way to just share information. They are basically careful. They often do not need to sound like a promoter. If they do, its really a big risk if the authroities find out.
