I'm definitely not a traditional gamer either.
But when they pay you money, they get my attention.
You don't even have to actively play to make money from them.
Try and learn about renting cards in Splinterlands or how to set up your dCity to 'mine' population cards that you can continuously sell.

Have you heard about #RisingStar which is a Hive-based game whose NFTs (Cards) and tokens (STARBITS) are stored on the Hive blockchain? It is an idle music game where you start Missions, Music Lessons, and Special Missions, then you may leave the game (close the browser tab) until the action you started ends. You also can't "lose" in the game, since you don't compete against other players (except for the Top 100 Leaderboard players who win SWAP.HIVE daily according to their Rank).

heh. I can relate. For 25 years I was a long haul trucker, solitary confinement with a view. After I retired I spend my time sitting in front of a computer.
Yeah, but it is really amazing the view of the world you get from here. As much as the "real world" is right outside your door, you can't match some of the views you get from sitting right where you're sitting reading this. Pretty amazing actually...
