Now that's an interesting feature to see! I can't believe I didn't hover over this before. Thanks for the sharp eye. :)
I like following and trending these types of values, so it will be interesting to see what happens.

All throughout the site. We have been playing with it for about a day.
Some of us are mesmerized by numbers.
I think that seeing live metrics like this will help with engagement, especially for the coockoos like me who are, indeed, mesmerized by the numbers. I expect it'll get at least a few more people to hop on.
It will. To me, it still starts with the first disbursement. Then it becomes real. After that, we talk and people know we are serious.
We also can push harder then.
Seeing substantial reward numbers come out after the first disbursement will definitely push people towards engaging more. If views alone can generate value (especially to the majority who don't own/stake much Leo), this will be HUGE!
That is true. Keep in mind it is pooled and distributed. It is not going to the one who made the thread but to all based upon stake.
Precisely, so clicks will benefit the community at large, but more so the largest stakeholders.
A question, however: if you're viewing the replies to a Thread without clicking on them, does this count towards pageviews? For instance, I read through some quotes on that Thread from your article, but I expect it to count as 1 view.
No them it is only on the main thread you enter. It is clicks. When replying out of notis, it is the opposite: the click is on the comment and not the top level thread.
That's how I understood it. Guess I'm going to help out a bit on a daily basis by clicking random Threads, even if I only have a couple of minutes to spare! With more time, I'll click and engage.
The best is to click and drop a comment. That gives the person on the other end (and others) a chance to add to it.
This is how it compounds.
Like @taskmaster4450le mentioned, imagine if we had 1000 views on each thread, and thousands of people doing the same thing!
