Now that's an interesting feature to see! I can't believe I didn't hover over this before. Thanks for the sharp eye. :)
I like following and trending these types of values, so it will be interesting to see what happens.

All throughout the site. We have been playing with it for about a day.
Some of us are mesmerized by numbers.
I think that seeing live metrics like this will help with engagement, especially for the coockoos like me who are, indeed, mesmerized by the numbers. I expect it'll get at least a few more people to hop on.
It will. To me, it still starts with the first disbursement. Then it becomes real. After that, we talk and people know we are serious.
We also can push harder then.
Seeing substantial reward numbers come out after the first disbursement will definitely push people towards engaging more. If views alone can generate value (especially to the majority who don't own/stake much Leo), this will be HUGE!
That is true. Keep in mind it is pooled and distributed. It is not going to the one who made the thread but to all based upon stake.
Precisely, so clicks will benefit the community at large, but more so the largest stakeholders.
A question, however: if you're viewing the replies to a Thread without clicking on them, does this count towards pageviews? For instance, I read through some quotes on that Thread from your article, but I expect it to count as 1 view.
No them it is only on the main thread you enter. It is clicks. When replying out of notis, it is the opposite: the click is on the comment and not the top level thread.
That's how I understood it. Guess I'm going to help out a bit on a daily basis by clicking random Threads, even if I only have a couple of minutes to spare! With more time, I'll click and engage.
The best is to click and drop a comment. That gives the person on the other end (and others) a chance to add to it.
This is how it compounds.
Like @taskmaster4450le mentioned, imagine if we had 1000 views on each thread, and thousands of people doing the same thing!

Dont sound so altruistic.
You are a sperm lion meaning the more ad revenue, the more you get.
Plus it is also a new toy. This is our form of shiny new object.
Numbers get JonGo and Task excited.
It's depressing how easily we can be amused!
Not for me. I accepted I have no live (nor friends) and that is a bonus to my day.
Sometimes a fly is hours of enjoyment without leaving the couch, just watching it buzz around.
You'd love the barn where the chickens are then....Plenty of flies to watch!
On one hand I watched enough porn to think the barn very exciting.
On the other I watched enough horror/slasher films to want no part of it.
That's another taskmaster fun fact!!!
Another one is never to mix porn and slasher films together. Not a good combo.
Awesomeness! It's great to see those numbers :)
I love it! Gives me something else I want to grow lol
TM is right, it gives people something to play with😅
Some facking awesome sauce stuff.
Not bad at all!
Seriously, though. Congrats on the 44 clicks.
We are going to make some noise with these.
Can you see now why I am so excited about #nfl threadcasts.
Oh man, it'll be crazy! So much smack talk on Sundays soon!
The passion is there for the #nfl. I am looking for some 1,000 comment threadcasts with that.
It is very doable.
That is good news. I guess people are refreshing often to see the new comments in the threadcast.
Yeah but it'll be cached. So every view will only be from on IP, unless coinzilla doesn't do it like that. Most PPC platforms set it up where it's like 24 hour per unique IP.
Ah ok. Maybe you should ask Khal about that because he has mentioned that the ads rotate every minute and I was under the assumption that it wasn't like that.
Great
