RE: Why I Still Believe in Hive Despite the Downturn

in LeoFinance3 months ago (edited)

Gotta be honest, running ad campaigns is not it. This was done since way back in 2016 steemit days. It doesn’t work in any long term way. It’s just the truth. I love this place, but price wise we are obviously headed to .10 cents at least next bear market. I’ll be posting and i’ll be here 💯. But frankly with things like the DHF printing far too much which in turn puts pressure on Hive via the stabilizer when that HBD is sold. Well it’s issues like this that are why many in our crypto space stay far far away. That’s just what I’ve been told directly. We have to clean up issues here before it’s even attractive for others to wanna come. We are a chain that’s shrunk active account wise and it’s our own fault as a collective. We will keep making new cycle lows below the last bear low (November 2022) like we have in 2024 and right now in 2025 while bitcoin surges and most alts are well above there 2022 lows while we are well below it. I again love this place and will be here daily. That said i understand why most aren’t interested. They get chased away if they don’t wanna dox themselves by HW, and our community fund is crushing us via DHF then stabilizer… not to mention many of our own old school accounts left over this issue recently. We gotta fix our house first. Then think of ways to promote it, but ads ain’t it. Do I have a perfect solution in general? Not really. I just know if I saw this place as a newbie now, I’d keep moving. HW spends more time harassing legit accounts instead of only focusing on fraud and corruption. We are a decentralized community that has a few whales voting to support costs 90% here can’t stand. People will say buy more stake and change things. I just don’t think that’s realistic. There are people milking this chain and it’s a shame. !PIZZA !ALIVE

Thanks for the honest feedback and for sticking with Hive regardless. You're absolutely right... before we grow, we need to get our fundamentals in order. Much respect for your consistency and insights.
