for me, I think when one is just focusing on making it big without much effort, then the possibility of running into scammers becomes very high. So to be safe, just know that you just have to what for what you will earn

And that's precisely what scammers exploit: people's desire to make money fast, without work, effort or research. And perhaps some get to that position because of a financial hardship, an illness, a debt, or unexpected money. It's bad 😓
You are right and that's true, focusing more on the profits the say you will get without making more research can make one loose his or her funds and just like you said focusing on the profits can result to scam, so is best to do research.
