Dear Lions, I have some good news 🦁
LeoFinance and Hodl Community have initiated a brand new contest that will reward winners with LEO tokens. The aim of the contest is to increase engagement among community members, help people explore amazing products of LeoFinance and reward community members for their contribution.
If it sounds good to you, let's learn about the details 😉
The Details of the Contest
The weekly contests will be about raising awareness on LeoFinance products such as LeoThreads, LeoDex, LeoGlossory, LeoBridge etc. According to the focus of the week, the participants will create their written content and share it on LeoFinance community.
- You can submit your entries until Friday midnight. The winners of the first week will be declared on next Saturday (3rd of September). So, you have more than a week for this time 😉
- When your content is ready, you will submit the link on HODL Discord channel named leo-hodl-contest-submission. The entries will be reviewed until Saturdays and the winners will be declared on Hodl Community Leo post.
In your submissions, any infographic, mindmap or creative visuals are more than welcome 😎
The Tasks of the Contest
- Join the Discord of LeoFinance (Leo Discord) & HODL Community (HODL Discord).
- Submit your entry on HODL Discord Channel -> leo-hodl-contest-submission
- Create LeoThreads (at least 3 LeoThreads and do not forget to share the link in your submission) and explain the reasons why you use this Leo Product / What are the benefits of them etc.
- use hashtags #hodlcontest #leocontest #contest to be eligible.
- use at least 3 leoglossary links (Leo Glossary by TaskMaster) in your post.
Note: You can have maximum 2 entries per week.
The Prize
The prize will be in both curation and liquid LEO token formats. HODL Community and LeoFinance curators will curate the entries and choose the best submissions.
The best submission gets 100 LEO
The second best submission gets 50 LEO
The third best submission gets 25 LEO.
Total of 175 LEO 🦁
Note: A person can only be eligible for 1 reward per week
An example of Submission:
In your 1 Discord Message, you will have 4 links:
A link of your LEO post
3 links of your LeoThreads about the focus.
When you submit your entry on the Discord channel, you get your ticket ✌🏼

I haven't seen my notifications yet and I don't know how the draw went yesterday for you ⚽️
I have to do the RS thread, a post and clear my notifications that I haven't seen since yesterday at noon hehe, and my brain is fused. Rodrigo is starting to get nervous about the trip, and to complete the hectic days, in the last two days here we are again with a brutal devaluation of the bolivar. So I think my neurons are in shock hehe.

Oh no, poor Rodrigo, he will be fine, I guess it is finally dawning just what is going to happen. The Bolivar is being devalued, by how much and what does that mean? Here everyone is going on strike, even Billy Binman in the first week of September and we are waiting for October when energy bills are going to double again, yet the energy companies are posting their greatest ever profits. It is all fluffed!

Yes, Rodrigo is already seeing that the trip is imminent so he's on edge, but I'm sure he'll be fine.
Everyone on strike over there doesn't sound very promising. Here the bolivar has lost about 35% of its value in 3 days. What does it mean that all products that are mostly imported are more expensive. Some merchants do not want to accept payments in bolivars. But payments in dollars are now taxed. So it's a big mess and let's hope this doesn't lead to shortages like the one we experienced a few years ago.
To unfuse my brain hehe I went out this morning after posting to have coffee with a friend and I had a huge piece of chocolate cake, 😋😋 I came back a bit guilty but happy, and now I have to catch up, hehe.

The reasons are many but they always have the same origin, the government feels like printing bolivars at will to finance itself, impoverish the people and continue to have absolute control of the population.
It is true that the world is a mess these days and we have been a big mess since before, so for now, there is not much to look forward to.
Super Eli has been naughty and deserved it, hehe. Let's see what I can come up with today. By the way, speaking of naughtiness, your nephew has gone acrobatic and this morning he almost managed to open the balcony window to catch a bird. 😮
