I get tagged by people I don't know and am not personally connected with on FB, I go see what it is, only to find some porno page has tagged EVERYONE on FB.
I didn't read that whole post @nathanmars, so I don't know what you are trying to promote, but pulling in people randomly who most likely will not be interested in whatever you are peddling, is not the way to get the attention you apparently want.
Just my thoughts.
Perhaps try FINDING people who just might be like minded first, THEN tagging them.
