It's been a long journey but I hope it goes well. It sucks that they wouldn't advance your residency despite all the work you put in toward the community. I think it's worst to let a skilled worker leave.

Yea that is crazy. Keeping skilled workers is something every country should do and I think it's dumb of them not to do so.
