I guess the rich are trying to get out as fast as they can in India.

It's sad what's happening over there. I recall reading about the low infection rates there last year and then now... Let's hope they get that situation under control to stem the loss of life.

They say the second generation of these viruses is where the read danger lies. The newer strains can be of greater impact than the previous ones. That is scary. Let's hope the Indians can come through this okay.

My question is whether or not the vaccines will work on the 2nd strain and whether or not it is the 2nd wave of lockdowns for us in the US.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

From what I understand, it will not. The second strains are different and most of the vaccines are targeted.

But who knows. I saw that some are saying that more than two shots are going to be required since some of this will not last long.

The problem is they have no freaking clue if it will work on other strains or whether multiple booster shots will be required or not. They keep reminding us dummies it's the NOVEL Corona Virus.

Ground reality is totally different. Even last year the numbers were fudged and you can 2x-3x them easily to get the real picture.

This year, you can 10x the official numbers!!! The government is hiding the data.

That is no surprise. Why should Indians be any different than the rich anywhere else. That is an advantage they have. It is some that few in politics seem to understand. The wealthy, if they do not like how things are going, they just leave.

The wealthy, if they do not like how things are going, they just leave.

true and I think that it happens everywhere. those who have money also have many options with them.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

We are seeing that happen within the US.

Those states that are getting dangerous and too onerous with taxation are seeing their wealthy leave. NY and California are two examples.

Yes it ends up being a fact that those who can move will move when things are looking bad and only those who have no choice will be left behind. Its the same thing as the wealthier people in California leaving for a low/no tax state.

Yep and all them moving here with their ideologies that got them into the situation in the first place. We should have a no voting law for 10 years after moving in.

the second wave has impacted greatly India and maybe some rich people are trying to get out of the country. I think this is not a surprise because they have the advantage to move to another country at the time of crisis and come back when things are back to normal.

Is it very common for this to happen in India? I would think that most of the people who keep leaving and coming back would have fairly bad reputations. I always thought that the people in India were kind of religious so they would stick it out if they could (minus a few who don't care).

Oh yea. They have the privilege to do it.

I would have gone if I had a private jet. But I would go to Bhutan or something. Not that far!!
