I do agree that we are lacking in those fields but I fully expected it to be the case after the high speed rail failed in California. They took millions of dollars and have nothing to show for it. If we had the ability to, it would of already succeeded but it will depend on removing the incompetent and putting in the competent.

The difference is the high speed rail was the state, the internet is due to the private corporations (monopolies) that are sabotaging things.

Yea I misread the article and the comment. But I definitely want 5G and Starlink to start putting some pressure.
