Yea they are in huge trouble so I am surprised that Tesla wasn't hit by it.

They were able to tangent. That was what saved their bacon. They went to a different technology and away from that which is affected by the supply chain interruption.
There might still be a problem for them but it is less than some of the other companies that are dependent upon the Intels of the world.
