As far as possible everything is fine yes friend. I am slowly returning to my activities here. What worries me most is that my wife is not doing so well now. But if God wants her to recover quickly, I think it's an allergy attack. I already told her that she will stay home at least this week to recover.

It really doesnt matter. This is a fight that might last a little while but is a distraction. With all that is going on, we are going to see a ton of disruption that will make people's head spin.
I really do not think most understand, both workers and management, how much things are going to change in the next 24-36 months. This stuff is going into high drive.
While companies are spent pissing around with their employees, they are about to get whacked by a lot of powerful forces.

Well that's the thing, it takes time, effort and funds to train up staff and retain them. Even your crappest staff member is better than a new person. You're looking at 3 - 6month of down productivity as the new person learns the ropes.
Even then there is no guarantee.
People will just quit and financial services is a blanket industry. You can just start a local accounting firm and still make more money than working for one of these big companies

That can be hard... Now that we are theoretically always "at work" some people just seem to expect you are always available. I'm already noticing an increase in meetings before 9 am and after 6 pm in the company I work for.

I currently got a job and I would be working remotely for most of the working days. I am only required to be at the office twice a week. This is very convenient for me. It means I will avoid the stress and risk of commuting to work every day. Any reasonable company that cares about their staff's welfare will take this opinion. Well, the disease is here to stay like influenza. As far as the pandemic? I think it is settling down a bit.
Of course the pandemic has been leveraged by governments and money folks, but I don't subscribe to it being a planned-out conspiracy.
Much of the problem has been the same problems that were experienced by the Spanish flu early in the 20th Century. That was spread by veterans of the first World War returning to their Nations. It took a couple of years to get that pandemic under control.
With global travel, imports and exports today; the spread of covid was much faster than that of the Spanish flu. As happened in the early 20th century, Covid has been politicized which did not help matters.
People sometimes never learn lessons from the past.

It's a hard one. Adult content is huge and massively profitable if done right. I think this is something block chain tech hasn't been able to lock down as yet.
Also to note that alot of adult content can be viewed freely it is hard to compete in the market.

I cannot give you an exact number but 2-3 hours on average because I don't create heavy research-based content every day.

Well, for posts, since I still lack the experience and confidence to write them, I spend quite a bit of time trying to find a suitable topic, reading about it and then writing something acceptable so I'd say something around 3 hours. I'm slowly finding my niche so maybe that will be reduced.
For comments, it really depends. I do most of my commenting here and we share a lot of articles, videos and whatnot so sometimes it takes me a few minutes just to read them and then comment. I'd say 3 to 5 minutes on average is in the ballpark.
May I ask why are you collecting that info? :)

This California based-company says they are going to build it.
I'm curious to see how this unfolds because it could really change the battery game. It's hard to believe and I did not find a lot of technical detail on it. It could be a hoax, but I've seen this news featured in some serious tech sites so maybe there's something to it.

I don't think diamonds are that expensive anymore since they can make them synthetically. I think they do tend to keep a lot of it off the market for scarcity reasons (price).

Well, if it works as intended it could actually be great for the environment. It's a very clean source of energy so maybe it would get some support.
But yea, not a lot of detail for now, which is weird. The science behind it checks the boxes but I'm not sure how practical it really is.... They said they will have a working product in 2023 so we'll see how that goes.

It is amazing the stuff people are working on. This is what I mean by the idea that within 15 years, our world will be totally different. Ideas like this are everywhere. Some of the will breakthrough. A few of them and we are living in a more Star Trek like existence.
I would surmise there are going to be a few dozen breakthroughs in the next couple decades that radically alter our lives.

You know there's a battery problem to be solved when Apple designs devices to sip as little power as posible, in order to make them thinner and lighter. It this works, it will help solve the nuclear waste problem as well. Apple's been on a buying spree lately and just might pick these guys up. Hope it works.

Yea, batteries are big limitations of engineering today. It's not easy to make them small and powerful enough but as we get in that territory, many projects are gonna take off.
I'd prefer that Apple didn't buy them but it's hard to fight money so maybe that's what will happen in the end.

I believe traditional institutions are going all in with blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies in general. Except for Berkshire Hathaway. That may change soon as well. Hydrogen is starting to get a lot of attention. Perhaps it will start the process of tapping into the EV market. We will see.
It seems all the major automakers are in EV. Even the Japanese who were high on hydrogen a couple years ago seemed to pulled back a little.

That's a risk that must be addressed indeed. Hydrogen is very flammable and an accident could be catastrophic.
Helium is not flammable though, so it's much safer in that aspect.

Marriage is a legal contract. I don't see nothing wrong with just shacking-up. If one makes a spiritual covenant with their partner, there is no reason to make it into a legal obligation.

Yea, it's something like a thesis indeed. I believe it can be slightly different depending on the course and on the university, but in my case, basically what I had to do was to try and use the knowledge I acquired during the course to present a project that had a real application in the world.
We didn't need to actually carry on with the project, but it did need to be something feasible if the proper resources were available.

Its the native engine for Hive Engine. You consume it to create a HE token, modify the tokenomics and even to create a tribe/etc.

Yes you need to spend money for creating tribes. I remember SPI saying they were willing to help with the funding issue after you set up everything. The VIBES tokens in the Music for Life community was funded that way.

I've been selling off my HBD to acquire more HIVE to put into Cub Life. Also been acquiring a bunch of LBI for the upcoming snapshot. After the snapshot I'll probably sell off a little of the LBI to increase the HIVE stash for Cub Life.
I'm big on the Cub Life project and hopefully I'll be able to reinvest the Leo received every month plus add a little more to it.
Maybe in 2 or 3 years I can develop a nice income stream.

That's the way to go brother. It's a very nice strategy. You can always reinvest your dividends and compound the over time. In one year, you can definitely generate a reliable and passive income through this.

Well, my first problem is now solved. Vaccination tomorrow and second dose in a month. Second problem, to be addressed this week, I need to renew my expired passport - that's 6 to 8 weeks (I'm not paying the government to expedite it in three weeks for more than double the fee - screw them).
Anyway, the weather is getting nice here as summer approaches, and it basically stays nice until mid-October. So I think I'll hang out here until then.
