Elon Musk wasn't there, but we got the next best thing...
No, we didn't get Elon Musk there asking about how to get bitcoin on their balance sheet as a Treasury asset, but we did get something very interesting.
But first lets go back in a time a few months and revisit something that hopefully got the ball rolling for what happened today...
Do you remember this?

Where Elon Musk was asking about bitcoin and how one could go about actually getting a large amount of money into it without severally impacting the markets.
Saylor swooped in and did some very Michael Saylor things.
Back to the present...
Ok, so we got the history covered now lets move back towards today...
Look who showed up today to Michael Saylor and MicroStrategy's Bitcoin for Corporations Event:

It's not Elon Musk or anyone from TSLA, but it might just be the next best thing...
It's the director of the Treasury for SpaceX, Elon Musks other company... (he actually has more than that but for now these are the most well known).
Coincidence?
I'm sure it's just a coincidence and nothing more...
(sarcasm font on)
TSLA may be the big boy right now, but if you listen to Elon for any length of time it becomes clear that he keeps dreaming about the stars.
I imagine at some point he will hand over TSLA to be run by someone else and instead will focus his time on his civilian moon missions and other space dreams that he may have.
The fact that his other company was at this event is very interesting to me and something that could be very big going forward.
Seeing this quote from Saylor today gave me goosebumps:

What about you? :)
Stay informed my friends.

Unlike other billionaires, Musk is genuinely and entirely driven by the goal of creating human civilisation on Mars.
I joined this movement (via The Mars Society) in 1998, a few years before Musk, but we know and are influenced by the same idea and people (esp Dr Robert Zubrin).
SpaceX is Musk's vehicle for achieving this goal and has 20+ year time horizons.
Tesla's purpose was to prove that electric cars could be successful in mass production. It has already achieved those goal and now it is just a way for Musk to fund his Mars goals.
It is far more significant that a SpaceX treasury person was at the event than if a Tesla person came. Also, SpaceX makes serious money while Tesla is still losing it.
what is the fascination with Mars? We already destroyed it once ;)

I don't get your reference. Please explain.
There are ancient theories that human beings originated on Mars and destroyed the planet and fled here. Mars has a lot of ancient mythos in which it was the planet 'war'. Obviously as frum Jews it's not really believable but hey I'm open to all sorts of ancient myths.

Good points and I agree. I suspect Musk will hand over the reins to a different captain for TSLA in the very near future either way.
Bitcoin is the future! Now!

Ooh... that is a pleasantly chilling feeling! lol
Part of me still thinks Musk might be Satoshi, but that doesn't really change anything about his plans or BTC's trajectory. All good news, and I appreciate it. Cheers. ;)

That idea doesn't support many of the facts surrounding its launch, but it's a nice thought!
How so? He was a young guy at the time who was an advanced C++ programmer. And he has since "joked" on a message board saying he is Satoshi. What doesn't fit for you?

an unbelievable amount of money is going to flow into $BTC ! I think there were approx 1400 companies attending. Imaging if each put in at least $10 Million. I'm sure there's other companies that will put in much more. They'll be a bit of a delay as these companies put things in place and prepare their accounts and paperwork but pretty soon $BTC is gonna skyrocket !

There were actually a lot more than that according to a tweet from Saylor today! :)
It's creeping up again, meanwhile ETH was doing larger strides yesterday. I have some to sell but keep holding off thinking it will go higher. Talk about mind games.
That's always the hardest part, knowing when to sell... I like to sell in chunks when I sell just in case it keeps going higher.
This is bullish

Not surprised

I think Elon will eventually join this list through one of his companies at some point.
mass adoption underway

No way! Goosebumps indeed. That is pretty nuts. It makes me feel like I should go out and pick up some more BTC. It sounds like this event went really really well. That is exciting to hear. I need to jump over and read your other post about it now.

Avalanche of companies buying bitcoins sounds great to me!
Indeed!

Well, Elon wants to, but without making too much noise.

By having him there is
a note that they are interested
in the crypto world.
Saylor is making sure Bitcoin
and crypto have their place
in the front line.
Great moment!

While he's dreaming about the stars, the crypto community will just go to the moon.

Works for me!
Bitcoin literally going to the moon
