RE: Language is EVERYTHING When Explaining CubDeFi to Someone for the First Time...

hah!!
I get this!
I spent a week too, watching, reading, googling for terms I didn't get
By last night, I was ready to burst!!

I think I kinda got it, but will only know for sure when I put it to the test. Anyways, I made peace with the fact that it's time to put this to rest and move on.

On another note, a couple of years back, I had to create excel sheets for some accounts I was doing (I have never done accounting but had committed to help this ex-boss). So @vangie (who I brought in to Steem/Hive and isn't very active) teaches me. She taught me like I was 12 years old. I won't lie, some bits irritated me, like, hey, of course, I know that, and she turned around and said, "Well, I rather not assume you do. And I am going to teach you step by step." I have to say, I appreciated her style because there were things she taught me I would not have even known to ask haha

See you on the next one :D

Yeah, it hit me Friday right before I went out. It dawned on me that trying to learn all of this was becoming a full-time job. While out, I also realized that the odds of the "guide-writers" being able to think like a new person and writing a user-friendly guide, was very slim.

I've been working on these guys since the early days of Steemit and they can't or won't write for the general public.

They're blockchain friends who know all of this and don't have the perspective to step outside of that world and see it as a new person would. I could probably spend the rest of the day reading many posts and watching videos and "get it" but with less than 1 CUB to play with, I have to balance that, with the time taken from other things. I do hope you get it though and it moon's for you! :)
