Would this be your investment?

A while back in Greece after there was a night full of souvlaki and tzaziki I took a little lap around the harbour. That is the deal when you are in a boating situation, you house is every time in a location where you are kind of dependent what happens around that harbour.

I stumbled upon this abandoned situation which is not even an option as an urbex experience. It looked like a bomb had dropped on the place and that even never had been finished in the building process. Nothing out of the ordinary, just a destructed building you would normally pass by.

But when you look a bit closer to the details on what there is here. It is not the ruin that you are buying, it is the area or the lot that is the deal. And if I would be someone that had construction skills and would love a building project, I would totally go for it.

Because this is the surrounding of where the ruin is. See that little logo of the restaurant on the edge of the bay? Next to that place that is where the ruin is. A bay with a ferry harbour, but also some little bars and restaurants and some places at the ocean.

That is what I call an A-location to locate yourself in the early summers and the late autumns. And then the investment into the ruin might not even be such a bad idea. I would call it gem hunting.

The only cons on this whole idea? Well, you can only access this island by boat in that same ferry which docks in this bay. That can be a bit of a challenge of getting your building stuff.

The other downside? I have zero building skills, so this would not be something for me. But these kind of gem hunts...I like it!

Would this be your investment ruin?

Yeah, locals who have the skills and are reliable are always tricky to find even when you are not on an island. Coordinating them is also a pain in the ass.

Yeah thisnwould be something to do yourself in a remove place like that. Have everything in your own hand

That's an easy fixer upper.

I guess this exactly the project some people would love doing.

But current state...almost ready to move in..for the bats that is haha
