RE: Testing Out @hive-bounty! Tutorial [+ Bounty Inside]

in LeoFinance3 years ago

These are the questions that have come up as I was creating this

  1. Can I post any link and for any author?? (hive.blog, leofinance, peakd, liketu, actifit,io, ecency??)
  2. I set it to end tomorrow at 15:37. What time is this? UTC? My local time?
  3. I still have queries about what if I comment / will I also get a piece of the bounty? Will bots also take bounties?
  4. Can there be refunds for any reason?

Let's see - Can't wait for tomorrow!

Hello @katerinaramm,

Thanks to @eikejanssen for the mention. I can help you with your questions and make some corrections to your message:

  1. Question
Yes, all the mentioned frontends are currently working as I tested them just now. You can post any link you want there. Anyone can define a bounty on any post or comment they like, and you can even increase the bounty value of other bounties.

  2. Question
As Hive is public to the whole world, we want everyone in any timezone to be able to use our tool. Therefore, we have defined that if you want to use our tool, you need to enter the UTC time. If you need help converting time zones, there are several converters available. For example, you can use this one: https://savvytime.com/converter/utc-to-cet. We may change this in the near future if we find a better solution.

  3. Question
Yes, your posts count too. Sadly, bot comments also count, but we are planning to implement a blacklist very soon.

  4. Question
In case anything should go wrong, we will make sure that every single HIVE or HBD reaches its intended destination. However, please note that once a bounty has been started, it is saved on the blockchain and cannot be canceled on your side.

If you have any more questions, please don't hesitate to mention @hive-bounty or read our tutorial here: https://peakd.com/hive-bounty/@hive-bounty/introducing-hive-bounty-20.

Best regards,
@thezyppi

The developer @thezyppi can certainly clarify the questions. :)
