Nonetheless, when I saw this post by @acidyo, I knew I had to check it out.
In this post, I will use 1 HBD as an extra incentive for the friends who come by and comment.
The only problem is that my Voting Power is very low, so I will upvote you tomorrow!
Tutorial - How to use @hive-bounty
.1. Visit https://hive-tools.io/bounty
.2. Enter the post link
.3. Choose the amount and between Hive/HBD & set a date
.4. Set a commission for using the service (minimum is 1%)
.5. Set how much control you want to have over distributing your bounty compared to the community's votes.
I guess that if I set it to 0, then the bounty will be distributed proportionally to the users I select, according to the votes received? Or is it the other way round? If I select 100%, then the votes will be taken under consideration - but if I select 0, it will just be randomly or evenly distributed? If I get no response here, I will have to try it out!
.6. In this final step, we choose the number of the winners.
Here, I want to ask what happens to the bots? Do they also get rewarded? What about the replies to the comments? Do they count as users? What about me? If I comment on my post, do I get a piece of the bounty?

Yes, all the mentioned frontends are currently working as I tested them just now. You can post any link you want there. Anyone can define a bounty on any post or comment they like, and you can even increase the bounty value of other bounties.

As Hive is public to the whole world, we want everyone in any timezone to be able to use our tool. Therefore, we have defined that if you want to use our tool, you need to enter the UTC time. If you need help converting time zones, there are several converters available. For example, you can use this one: https://savvytime.com/converter/utc-to-cet. We may change this in the near future if we find a better solution.

Yes, your posts count too. Sadly, bot comments also count, but we are planning to implement a blacklist very soon.

In case anything should go wrong, we will make sure that every single HIVE or HBD reaches its intended destination. However, please note that once a bounty has been started, it is saved on the blockchain and cannot be canceled on your side.

This has happened before on the platform we don't mention here (Voldemort voice).
I personally appreciate this new opportunity to encourage more discussion and interaction. Currently, it doesn't work so well otherwise. It's certainly a good option for important contributions.
