Every new user that comes to LeoFinance.io now has the option to sign up and sign in using their Web2 Facebook account.
This new LeoInfra update links your facebook account to your new HIVE account on LeoFinance.io. New Users will not have to download the Hive Keys unless they chose to - this is the key to onboarding the masses. Make it easy upfront and then drip feed the information to them over the long-term as they familiarize with the platform.
Over time, we will encourage people to protect their LEO by downloading their Hive Keys but the point is just to make the Sign up process easier to begin with and then get them deeper into the process.
This will be huge for LeoFinance as it makes the entrance into Web3 much more accessible to people who aren't as knowledgeable of all of the inner workings. This new method of access will assist in making the new user experience much easier - opening the doors to even more new users.
This is a great step towards LeoMerge coming in the sooniverse™️!

It's really important to offer people the convenience of signing up. I remember when I first registered, I waited about 2 weeks for the confirmation email to come. It is now possible to join the Hive in seconds.

Lol yeah I remember that too! It’s funny that onboarding to a decentralized ecosystem required a centralized company to email you your private keys 2 weeks after telling them you wanted to sign up.
Looking back on steemit, I see so much missed potential they failed to capture in so many ways. Easy onboarding is at the top of that list

Promoting @leofinance on Facebook should get a whole lot easier now. We could even skip over the blockchain and cryptocurrency stuff and simply present ourselves as a better version of Seeking Alpha with real rewards for users which they can sign up with Facebook.
The beauty of our community is that we don't stop posting about CUB, POLYCUB, HIVE and many other DAPPs. If we get the onboard, users will constantly bombarded with user generated marketing material for all other related projects. It will be like having dozens of funnels operating at once leading towards many parts of the ecosystem. People don't even need to learn that they are earning cryptocurrency. They just need to know that they are earning; even for a simple comment.

Bottlenecks to entry had been a long sustained problem of web3 socialmedia. Thanks to Leofinance for helping to break this limitation which would make onboarding easier.
People have been so obsessed with web2 socialmedia which has witnessed tremendous growth and user satisfaction. Modelling web2 functionalities on a web3 technology is an amazing start into the future of crypto/blockchain mass adoption.

My friend is stuck because of low ip score error and don't know much about discord so he stuck without an account. I will recommend him this way and if it works, I will come back to it and update what happened by editing it. If I forgot remind me. :)

This is the way to encourage new people to join Leo/Hive ecosystem. One year ago, it's required ETH wallet address to register.
How many people in the world have ETH wallets? And compared to the number of people having FB accounts, it's like a tiny sand in the ocean.
