It's really important to offer people the convenience of signing up. I remember when I first registered, I waited about 2 weeks for the confirmation email to come. It is now possible to join the Hive in seconds.

Lol yeah I remember that too! It’s funny that onboarding to a decentralized ecosystem required a centralized company to email you your private keys 2 weeks after telling them you wanted to sign up.
Looking back on steemit, I see so much missed potential they failed to capture in so many ways. Easy onboarding is at the top of that list

Definitely steemit missed a lot of opportunities and it feels great to see them resolved here. We can already see the benefits of working with a focus on the future and innovation.
Joining even WEB 2 platforms has become quite difficult. In WEB 3 you show us how easy this can be.
