Why not add features that Twitter can't have?

Best not to underestimate what we can borrow from Web2. They have hundreds of millions of users for a reason

That being said, we do! See tokenization (rewards on content), content storage on a blockchain (HIVE), true account ownership)

Totally agree with this. If it's been battle tested already and it works and people love it then use it. The worst thing in business is trying something new and untested. It's expensive and 9 out of 10 times it doesn't work out well.

Threads from only your following feed should be added to recently and trending

We’re working on this!

Coming soon :)

ReThread, Quote Thread, and a Spaces competitor

Hive still doesn't quite have the infrastructure in place for decentralised photos/videos/audio.

This is why the SPK network and future integrations with Leo is so important.

Yeah I think SPK will help enable this but I had to throw it out there.

Recording button

  1. A user profile page like https://leofinance.io/threads/@handtalk5

I know you only asked for one, but also

  1. A follow function for threads specifically

that's actually the Twitter Spaces button

Yeah space button

Want to say Spaces. But I know we still have a long way to go. Or maybe not

To turn Threads into a standalone Twitter:

  • Standalone threads notifications
  • Standalone threads following feed

Extras:

  • Level 2+ nested replies displaying on level 1

ReThread & Quote Thread (like retweet & quote tweet). I feel this is coming soon.

Also, link shortening would be great.

To be able to reply in the threads tread and see only the starting discussion.

Noti system just for LeoThreads that when clicked takes me directly to that message so I can reply back to that person. Perhaps adding the new noti system directly to the threads page on the side under the ad.
