I agree with this, 100%. We can’t control what people post or how people vote, but I really like the idea of running different initiatives to target certain topics. Now that we have metamask onboarding, we need to make content that continuously targets niches in the Ethereum ecosystem so we can get clicks back to the site and signups.
I’m working on some official stuff like this, but also would like to see users running initiatives too. If anyone wants to do it and is looking for some backing for prizes, I’m game.

As we've seen throughout the great Steem experiment, purely trending/hot pages don't work.
However, your manually chosen "featured" section at the top of the new LeoFinance interface has been a great success.
Can we easily just make leofinance.io/forex leofinance.io/stocks leofinance.io/personal-finance etc etc with a manually chosen featured section at the top? Made purely for featuring outward facing content that we are proud to promote?

Well posts about Ethereum/ Defi should do very well indeed - both of interest to people on here already, and 'out there'.
We've got potential here to give out some really generous prizes for top quality articles too.
Have you ever spoken to @starkerz btw - he's got some interesting ideas viz getting businesses onboard - the line is to tell them if they power up they can pay people to write content for them and reward them in votes - combine that with more rewards from already high powered users, it could be quite effective.
