It seems @jongolson and @rmsadkri agree. I liked it too. I consider a movie like that to be similar to a rollercoaster ride, but it did have some emotional depth to it. The characters are just so extreme that it comes across as too showy, but it is based on a comic. I'm just in awe of what the CGI people can do these days.
