It's a common human experience, isn't it? There are numerous things in life that we appreciate but dislike. It's a problem that we all face.
We hate things we like for (a) responsibility and (b) dread. If you feel guilty after doing something or, conversely if you are unhappy with the outcome of doing it, you won't value it.
