Winter is one of the best seasons, not everyone's fav but it is when we make home made Salami. Do many of you make home made food like past generations and what is it?
100% It has been wonderful to do. I did it as a means to remain connected to my grand parents when my grandfather passed and my grandmother became to old and frail ( she is in her 90s now and can't make Salami) We would take them to her. Now my daughter is right into the annual tradition and my son is starting to also.
There aren't and we're about to commence the pasta sauce again. I didn't bother previously as they were cheap but now with inflation it is better to grow your own Roma tomatoes and bottle your own sauce. These traditions have become life savers through periods like this.
There's a lot of life lessons packed in these traditions, from growing it yourself to making it yourself. To trade-offs. The kids are learning a lot from you! Keep it up and happy father's day 🦁
