I think it's close to a week since GLX and Pack staking feature has been available for all GLX investors/players. Genesis League Soccer is now on its Presale 1 where they offer first 500,000 packs at $5 each. If you purchase 100 packs or more, they offer bonuses. These are the current pack sale offers they have on site:
- Buy 100 packs and you'll get 10% bonus
- Buy 500 packs and you'll get 15% bonus
- Buy 2,000 packs and you'll get 20% bonus
My Staking Journey
So a month before, I purchased 100 packs (+10% bonus) for the presale of this upcoming game. I was waiting for that pack staking option to happen and it finally did a couple of days ago. I think it was around 13th of December when it finally launched and started distributing. A total of 7.5 million GLX will be shared among pack stakers for the presale 1. This is what I have been accumulating.
But mine has a weird staking rewards pattern. Kindly look at it, it seems like my current amount staked are proportional. I am just sharing it because it's a little bit rare for this to happen between two staked options
I staked my packs, receiving GLX everyday
So here's my current receivable rewards and after a couple of hours, I accumulated a total of 53 GLX that is claimable because of the 110 packs I staked. It's a decent staking rewards as I have no plans of selling my accumulated GLX up until the game launches. This comes to my second staking which is:

When you stake your GLX, you will receive a proportionate amount of GLX and GLGT tokens. The bigger your staked GLX, the bigger portion of the GLX and GLGT reward pool will be sent to you. My goal is to get around 5,000 GLX and 100 GLGT.
Well, there is a second option. I will need to convert my GLX to Hive and then power them up. While I will for sure enjoy playing this game and become as competitive as I am, my long term goal is always increasing my Hive stake. Thus, if you noticed all of my HBD rewards and immediately converted to Hive, then power it up. I want to be able to accumulate as much as Hive Power especially at this bearish moments.
Did you Noticed that Proportion?
I find it rare to see that every time I get 10 GLX in my pack staking, I received 10% of that total amount via GLX staking also. So for that 54 GLX claimable via pack staking, surprisingly I am also receiving 5.4 GLX via GLX staking.
I was just amazed at the same time, I am also sharing you this staking option. This is a promising game as the developers of this game are the same developers (team) of the famous Splinterlands. Paired with my interest and passion for football, I think this is a good investment that I am willing to lose. I have invested around $500 for this game and I am willing to reinvest my earnings for HP or for in game assets.

In early thats the job. In a couple of years you will be laughing. I'm heading for 1000 GlX staked . The ROI is still over 500% so I'm don't care if the price drop. I am just going to accumulate. Football is huge and this game could end up dwarfing Splinterlands and we are in at the start. Didn't go mad on the packs yet. Have 4 is all but I plan to purchase more.
We have the same vision. One important factor that made me think long term was that the money I invested was something I could afford to lose. That's mainly because the developers are proven to deliver for a game + my love for football.
Regarding the pack purchase. I was lucky to get discount at that time when hive was dumping. They weren't able to adjust the price if you pay via Hive. I only paid around $415 that time from the usual $500 for the 100 packs purchased + 10% bonus.
not so bad so. $415 will be a small price to pay for what you will get in the future. Yeah Splinterlands is actually genius and to trasnfer that into a footbal game is really exciting. Plus I can see the mistakes they made with the likes of dec and vouchers won't be made again so the whole tokenomics is sharp already.
