So without making any delay let's get started.
What is Crypto currency mining?
So the basic question which one could ask is what is this mining.
In general concept, mining is exploring for anything by digging deeper and deeper. Everyone is aware of mining minerals and some rare and precious items, artifacts in earth or even in water bodies. There are several items to mine both inside earth and water bodies. Similarly when it comes to crypto currency, there are several coins one may or may not be aware of and so as it's mining. But it's different from mining others. There is also a variation of techniques to mine different crypto currencies.
The competitive process that verifies and adds new transactions to the blockchain for a crypto currency that uses the proof-of-work method. The miner that wins the competition is rewarded with some amount of the currency and/or transaction fees. The proof of work is solving complex arithmetic algorithmic operations.
So you get rewarded for your work in solving these and earn relevant crypto currency which is based upon.
Who can mine crypto currency
The answer to this question is literally anyone can mine crypto currencies unless their geographical conditions supports. China banned it, so it's not allowed there to mine. There are several restricting factors as well which can limit which I'll discuss later. Also you don't need to be a mathematical or computer expert in order to mine.
Types of crypto currency mining
We can broadly divide it into 2 categories.
1. Mining Crypto currency solo
Means mining on your own
2. Mining Crypto currency in pool
Means mining with a group of people. Usually the operations are so complex that it's very difficult to mine by it's own. So people combine together and solve which has higher probability of solving and dividing the currency among all participants.
Next subdivision
1. Offline mining 
means mining without the need of internet
2. Online Mining 
means mining using internet.
Another subdivision could be
1. Mining on your machine through available machines you have
2. Borrowing mining capacity from a provider there are several mining providers which let you borrow at some cost.
I have further subdivided
1. Mining on a pc 
means solving algorithmic operations on your laptop or desktop
2. Mining on a phone
Means solving algorithmic problems using your phone either it could be based on ios which is apple operating system or android. I haven't yet seen doing on java phones.
3. Mining with your own brain?
Is this even possible? Normally we can say it's not possible unless one posses very strong processing power brain. It's possible to solve those problems using your own brain but not viable.
Prerequisites for mining Crypto currencies
There are certain components which are needed for mining Crypto currencies unless you are borrowing mining capacities which requires nothing except your subscription.
Depending upon types of mining,
Requirements are different.
In all of them, one thing is common which is called mining software or program.
First let's see what we need on a pc or laptop
You can choose any operating system like DOS, Windows, Linux, Ubuntu in your pc.
1.A good processor 
2.A strong graphics card 
3.A mining rig when you have more than one graphics card 
4.Mining Software
5.Source of continuous electricity 
6.ASIC device with a storage if you don't want separate graphics cards and mining rig
7.Your crypto currency wallet to which crypto currency you are mining
8.An internet connection to transfer crypto currency to wallet
