Who would have thought this?

We dont see much news about it but evidently Germany is becoming a major crypto hub. It seems like Mayer Suarez of Miami might have to do a bit of catching up.

Yea it looks like BTC is going over quite well in Germany. Do you think Merkel will do something to change this in the future? I think regulations might make the citizens rethink crypto.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

I guess you didnt get the press release: Merkel is gone.

She left office last year I believe.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Current governing coalition in Germany includes Greens who aren't exactly crypto-friendly, at least in regards to POW cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

That is true so it is rather odd that Germany is having success in that area.

Have no fear, the Greens are in control until there is a major recession. People care less when they are going hungry.

I wish I could share your optimism. Greens didn't even have to be in power in order to obtain post-Fukushima shutdown of nuclear power, decision which in retrospect looks like the most colossal blunder in European 21st Century history.

The only things that makes Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies safe in Germany is its government having more pressing matters at hand.

Yea I didn't realize that. I guess I wasn't paying attention to how long they were in office.

Merkel was in office forever. I think she did 12 years or something. One of the longest tenured in Europe I believe.

There are quite a few guides on how to get into the pHBD/USDC pool but I think this one has been the best guide I have seen so far.

There are a lot of them, that is for sure. We need to keep promoting them out there.

And linking them of course.

or anything else that comes to mind.

Two things in my mind right now: LISTNERDS and DESO. Not done yet reading the latter's white paper, and I am curious about its market price ($41.76) and its claim as:

the decentralized social blockchain. DeSo is the first and only layer 1 blockchain custom-built from the ground up to scale decentralized social applications to billions of users.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

We have seen that one before.

Listnerds is a great application with some potential. It will be fun to see where that is in a few months.

It is going to be hard to top what Hive as working. A lot more to do.

Reading DeSo's white paper, I see a lot of similarities and also differences from Hive. Hive is older. DeSo has a lot of VCs. The white paper describes Ethereum as "decentralized". The blockchain is now utilizing the "hybrid Proof of Work" but aims to integrate proof of stake into its protocol. In terms of content moderation, it doesn't like complete anarchy and claims to be sitting in the middle. Curious how that position really works in practice.

As for ListNerds, I think I first heard it from you, but I took it for granted for months, not until I stumbled again with @bradleyarrow. Though I am a latecomer, I see its movement very fast. In terms of USD value, it is now the highest on my list.

Not late with it. Hell it is still very early. We are only a few months in.

Just keep building your CTP so you get more emails that you can read and then send something out weekly.

It all adds up. Listnerds is going to keep growing in my opinion. The team behind it is very strong.

Yes, once I reached 5k staked CTP, I will test if I can use all the votes.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

From what I understand, one can do a lot with a little CTP. I dont think it takes thousands to be able to seriously engage on that platform.

How many emails are you getting a day? Have you started?

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

I now have close to 1,600 staked CTP, and I almost consume all my votes that's why I am selective. Not sure about the exact number of emails. Perhaps, more or less 50 per day. I am now the 45th on CTP's and 43rd on LISTNERD's Richlists. By the way, receiving staking rewards is also part of the goal of increasing my CTP to 5k

I am guessing DeSo isn't on Hive? I think I will skip it and wait for project blank.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Yes, it's another blockchain claiming to be decentralized.

It looks like there are some updates to DCity if anyone is interested. I haven't really bothered much with my city.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Were you a big player? I never got into it.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

I was never really that big but I saw it floating around so I put it up.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

It's messed with all my smaller citizen mining cities.

Dropped their chance of receiving a new citizen from 30% down to 4%!

Grr.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

I haven't even bothered because I don't think citizens are being minted for me. You have no choice but to adapt and that is why I kind of prefer the SIM/HIVE diesel pool.

REMINDER!!!

Get those #CANDIES. It is vital that we get those jars filled before Summer kicks off.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Thanks for the reminder. I got my candies and diamonds for the night.
