There are some Beeswap updates. I staked all my BXT after it was airdropped but maybe I should of saved some for the diesel pools. Either way, it adds more to what we can earn on HIVE if you are in diesel pools.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I think bxt is a nice projects, any which way just have bxt and see how it does
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
It is and it isn't pulling money out of nowhere since its based on people converting between Hive Engine and your Hive wallet.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I'm liking BXT a lot. Hopefully those fees will generate some nice HIVE income. I read somewhere that they were thinking each BXT you have could pay you like 5 HIVE per year. Something like that. Obviously that can all change depending on market factors...how much activity ebbs and flows, prices, etc...but free HIVE is free HIVE. If HIVE goes to $10 and you get an extra 50/year, that's real money.
As far as putting it in the LPs, I'm a little leery of doing that with both BXT and HIVE being so volatile right now. I wouldn't mind getting more of either but I don't think I want to lose some to get the other. I just staked mine as well.
I did put a little in the HBD/BUSD LP which is paying out BXT as a reward...
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Are you just keeping your BXT staked?
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Does that answer your question? lol Sorry, couldn't resist.
Yes, like I said, I don't want to risk losing any BXT to impermanent loss. If HIVE were to drop back to $1 or something the BXT could wither on the vine. I'd get more HIVE, which wouldn't be the worst thing in the world, but I really want to keep the BXT I've got so....no LPs for me. At least using BXT anyway.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Haha yeah, I deserved that.
I'm just still wrapping my head around what BeeSwap is now offering.
I'm just confused whether I should simply stake it in the same way I would LEO.
Or whether I should be staking it on some new place that I'm not aware of on BeeSwap.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I'm just staking mine in LeoDex/H-E/TribalDex...take your pick. Staking it allows you to participate in the fees being generated by BeeSwap. I think I read somewhere there were upwards of 50k HIVE a year in fees? Don't quote me on that. I think I did the math and came up with about 5 HIVE per BTX per year. And I think that should be regardless of the price of HIVE as fees are a straight percentage so...if HIVE goes higher, the value of the payments should go higher with it.
If you put your BTX in the LPs on BeeSwap, you can earn more BTX as rewards. The APY's this first week are stupid. Like 3000% last I checked, moving down weekly. The problem is, with HIVE and BTX both so volatile right now, I don't want to risk losing the small amount of BTX I have. So I just staked mine and I'll collect the fees. Not sure when those will start paying out actually. Anyone else know?
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I think the BeeSwap dividends will be based on the profits generated from the swap function. After all, its liquidity is much bigger than LeoDex and HivePay Swap. So I think staking it on Hive Engine is a pretty good choice if you don't want to risk IL.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Oh that sounds like an interesting option. How is the APR in that pool?
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
HIVE holding above $2 for the moment but it is close.
The entire crypto market got crushed. We will see where things go from here.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
The market is bleeding and hive is holding up at 2$ which is very good
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
That is a very positive sign, no doubt. Hive is performing very well in this environment.
The question is, when things turn around, does HIVE follow suit or lag?
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Hive will maintain its positive head on the market.
As the community controls the narrative up is the way to go.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Well it has the potential, something that few seemed to grasp. We are social media so we can cater the perception that Hive has simply through out posting.
Yet many just want to complain and whine. That doesnt help anything.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
HIVE is becoming it's own animal, de-pegged from the rest of the markets, which I think is a very good thing. Hopefully it bounces around here for awhile and allows people to get comfortable with these prices, helping to create a new floor. If it can consolidate, then all of the new people coming in will start seeing drops below $2 as buying opportunities as opposed to people thinking it's going back to 80 cents.
The real test will be early next week when peoples' power downs become available and there is all of a sudden a LOT more liquid HIVE available to sell. This big run caught pretty much everyone by surprise so many people weren't liquid. We'll see.
I actually bought some more at $2.24 and am looking to keep adding. I'm going to wait until early next week to see what happens but then I might go in heavy (well, heavy for me :-) ). Depends on what everything looks like.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Even if it stays at this level over the weekend it would be quite nice. If it stays at this level after the weekend it would be wonderful.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Consolidation after a big run is never a bad thing. We will see if it can trade sideways for a while. That would be healthy from a pricing perspective.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yeah, considering how well Hive is holding I'm not sure I agree that it pulled back hard. It's still more than double what it was before.
It's still above $2.00, let's hope it stays here!
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I really feel like Hive is hosting enough traffic, and has enough unfolding, to support this hike. Anything's possible, but I'll be surprised to see it below $1.50 again, especially for any extended period.
I can handle Hive at $2.40. It'd be ok if it stays crushed to these levels.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
It is much better than $0.8
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Not if you are trying to load up on HIVE and have to buy it. Then 80 is much better.
Always a matter of perspective.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Consolidation is required. That is something that is healthy for an asset after a big move like this.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I think that if it stays over $2 is great as the OGs from here have now great power and reap considerable rewards. The bull market shows off and cannot but think about when bears will be coming on, but until that happens we need to make the most out of it!
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
There is something good on the way, I think there is still a month left in this year to see how far HIVE is capable of going.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Well the US stock market also took a beating today so I wouldn't worry about it too much. Markets go up and down but HIVE is doing well compared to a week ago.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
This is because of the new variant, I think everyone is panicking that the restrictions may return, in fact in some European countries are already panicking again.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Commodities also got crushed.
It was a red day all around.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
HIVE seems to have a certain immunity, this is an advantage of a coin that goes unnoticed.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
With the increase in Hive price, do you think there is greater responsibility to churn our better content and for all of us to up our game?
There are going to be more eyes on Hive as the price heads higher.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I was thinking about that as well. Some of the articles we write almost need to be written monthly so all the new people get a chance to see them. Especially when it comes to what's going on in HIVE/LEO/CUB etc. Plus, there's just so much going on and things are happening so quickly you can't just sleep on things for a week without missing possibly major developments.
For example, did you know there's a pre-sale going on right now in #TribalDex? #GameState is selling tokens to Hive members prior to launching an IDO on Polygon.
@cryptomancer posted about it in the #Hive-Engine announcement channel. I don't think that means he's necessarily endorsing in. They just set up the token to be traded inside Hive-Engine, but I had no idea it even existed until last night.
I put a little in because by the time it sells out on Polygon (assuming it does) it's like a 6x from purchase price.
Do your own research but might be worth a little flyer. Like I said, I put in 10 HIVE.
So much happening...
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I didn't know about it but I am wondering if its a good idea to buy some. Is there more information about this?
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
You should be able to click the links in my comment. That's why I put them there anyway... :-)
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Ah ok. I bought about 2000 of them for around 4.5 HIVE just to see how things go.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yeah, like I said, I put in just over 10 HIVE for 5000. Who knows? Hopefully Polygon will be excited about it and it completely sells out. That would turn 10 into 60 according to the pricing schedule. We'll see. Of course, that assumes HIVE doesn't go to $10 or something...lol
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Leo Alpha is doing great things showcasing outward facing quality.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Is there a specific tag for that? I was trying to think of what to tag that Hive/Leo article I wrote.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
They do have the #leoalpha tag you can use, but I think the real value is in JK's manual curation and sharing outward-facing content on other socials.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Is it strictly LEO related content or can HIVE enter the mix?
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Anything I think.
But just think of it as what the 'curated section' should be.
It's the type of content we want outsiders first seeing when they first come to LeoFinance.
So not just preaching to ourselves about how great Hive and Leo is, we want to be the gateway to all of crypto.
Talking about other projects and providing real value (or alpha( on what's happening.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Got it. So what's the tag. alpha? LeoAlpha?
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
There probably should and people will definitely be keeping an eye out on those posts that get paid out more than 1k. After all that isn't a small amount of money and the HIVE pump might make unrealistic expectations by some of the new people.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
REMINDER!!!
Get thee #CANDIES or else you will not be a good citizen.
Your financial future could hinge on them.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
50 candies today. So wen candies on exchange? lol
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
LOL direct your questions to Coingecko on that one.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Candies FTW! 20 that is. Good to be back on schedule.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Question.
For those who are playing splinterlands. Is it possible to level up without buying cards? And at what level buying cards is necessary to win the matches?
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
It depends but I would like to say that there are a few barriers if you want to start earning on your ranked battle wins. You want to be at least Bronze 2 so you get DEC. The person I onboarded is doing fine using level 1 summoners in bronze and silver so higher level summoners are not required unless you want to enter the higher leagues.
You can choose to either buy cards or rent cards. Personally I think renting cards and having the DEC/quest rewards slowly build up your collection power (so you can get to bronze II).
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Which card is worth renting at the stage of Bronze 3?
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
It depends on what type of splinters or set up you want to run. I think water magic build is pretty amazing with Alric so you could focus on that. However it might make your quests a bit tough if it isn't water.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I think it's hard to progress without buying cards or at least renting them.
As for winning matches, at Bronze level you can still win quite a few with the starter cards but it gets harder as you go up on the ladder
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
President Bukele bought the dip:
BTC was on sale.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I am still interested in seeing how they work through a bear market. Will they have enough funds for everything and how much are they buying each time?
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
That would be interesting to see, especially since it would be the first bull-bear cycle for El Salvador. President Bukele and the government are treating BTC like a stock, which is OK. Will the regular population also treat BTC like a stock, or will people treat BTC like spending money and actually use the thing?
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I think it will depend whether or not they have enough dollars or funds lying around. Otherwise they will have no choice but to liquidate to fund their ongoing liabilities. Of course they could take a loan but that is dangerous.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I think this might be a question for @forexbrokr or @kevinnag58 but feel free to chip in if you know:
What is the most efficient way to convert Hive into UST (Terra) and the other way around?
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
You need to use @deathwing's bridge to convert Hive to BNB (BSC). Click here for the bridge.
Once you have BNB, using Metamask, buy UST in BSC format. Then go to Terrabridge to move the UST to the Terra blockchain. Terrabridge is very easy to use, just make sure to include all the required information.
This is the easiest way I know of to accomplish your task.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Thanks Kevin! GOod to know it's an easy thing to do

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Glad I could help!
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
The only advantage fiat currency has over cryptocurrency has is ease of exchange with other fiat currencies.
A bit more difficult is using precious metals as a bridge between fiat currencies.
Both are easier than exchanging one crypto for another.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Hive to UST via BSC
First get your HIVE onto BSC via LEO.
Then you can easily buy UST on BSC using Cub Finance
Once you have your UST on Terra, you can then also use that to buy LUNA if you like.
Imo, Leo's move to BSC doesn't get enough credit for opening up the Hive ecosystem to the entire crypto universe.
So good.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Awesome! Thanks for the tips and yea, I agree with you. Leo's move to BSC makes our lives a whole lot easier!

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
healthy short term pullback, we need support levels as we approach $10
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I am not sure if we will reach $10 in the next year or so. However I do think it will reach it in a few years or so.

@forexbrokr
Dane:
'How does EOS and EOSIO work?' is finished, published and linked to the guide.
Enjoy your Sunday.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Thanks boss.
I'll use the content I just wrote in the introduction and yours in the following.
Another one we're smashing through!
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Is there anything left? I could use a topic to write on tomorrow.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Kevin, What is EOS and EOSIO used for still hasn't been done.
@esmeesmith, can you do EOS vs Ethereum (ETH) in your table style and then we'll have finished this one.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
'What is EOS and EOSIO used for' no problem. I'll try and get it out tomorrow, but more than likely you'll see it on Monday.
Thanks.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
It's completely random! We will know in a few months if investors really see the potential in Hive or if it's just a pump and dump.
I think it's normal for people to manifest a confirmation bias but at the end of the day, you gotta be here for the long haul and great if we can stay above 1.50 for the forseable future.
