Upcoming FPS PsyberX had an AMA recently. Here's the recording in case anyone is interested:

I still haven't gone through it but I'm curious to know more about the game.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

If the game develops good economy strategy I think it will be successful

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Yeah, everyone seems to have high hopes for that one!

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Cheers for sharing this.

I am finally going to sit down and listen to what all the PsyberX hype is about.

Also, check out Fing's great post on the topic too:

Adding Binance Smart Chain to MetaMask is easy thanks to instructions at Cub Finance and other places.

From the instructions, MetaMask requires 3 pieces of information and includes space for 2 more items:

  • Network Name
  • New RPC URL
  • Chain ID
  • Symbol (optional)
  • Block Explorer URL (optional)

MetaMask looks like it was made for Ethereum and anything connected to Ethereum (such as BSC).

Does anyone know where I can locate these items so I can add Hive to MetaMask?

Also, does anyone know if cryptos such as Bitcoin and Litecoin can be added to MetaMask?

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

You can have those tokens on your Metamask, the problem is if you need to move them around. Not all chains are compatible with Metamask so depending on what you want to do you might need to use bridges and that can get expensive.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

It looks as if I need to find a wallet that let's me handle a wide variety of cryptos, or at least lets me add them to the wallet easily.

Also, what's the difference between having crypto at a centralized exchange and having crypto in a MetaMask wallet? Isn't MetaMask just a holding facility for MetaMask wallets?

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Can any of you guys recommend a good BSC to Polygon Bridge?

There are a ton, but I don't know what to trust so have been putting using them off.

Any recommendations would be a help.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

I think each block chain has their own address for those tokens so it's not impossible to add those tokens into your metamask. However something you put for BSC won't work for ETH. You will have to look up the actual address for the wrapper versions of those tokens though

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

It's the addresses I'm looking for. Most addressed I've seen are for ERC-20s and BEP-20s. HIVE is neither, but I know it can be added to MetaMask.

Then again, If I had the relevant infor for HIVE, I should be able to add it to any wallet if I decide to leave MetaMask behind.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

$HIVE pushing towards 80 cents. We will see if that level holds. If I recall there was some strong support in there.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Hope it hold 🤞🏻

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

I leave you guys alone for the weekend and price goes to shit.

Don't worry, I'm back to single handedly drag things back above $1 where they belong.

Just give me a few more hours ;)

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Maybe it went to shit because both of us were away for the weekend. We need to be more organized next time.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

How was your break? :)

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

It was so good I took another one yesterday lol

What about you?

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Really this is not looking good at all,but I think it is the right time to buy earn and invest now

I think that level is also strong support but I think we will track what BTC will do. So lets just hope BTC doesn't fall.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Things are not looking good for crypto in general but let see what will happen before the weekend

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

PolyCUB logo! How does it look guys? Found this on @whatsup's twitter.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

It looks nice. The cub looks a bit sad imo.. it would be cooler if it had a more badass expression, but it looks great other than that

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Haha, they're cute puppy dog eyes!

...err, kitten eyes?

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

I was wishing it looked happier too!

"Crypto is just for criminals and terrorists."

Except in Canada's case, the government has chucked working class Canadian citizens donating to a legitimately mainstream cause under the banner of terrorists by freezing their bank accounts.

TERRORISTS!!

But surely it won't happen to you, right?

Probably?

Maybe...?

Yikes.

Check out this read from David Heinemeier Hansson, the Danish creator of the Ruby on Rails web development framework for a great opinion piece on the use case for decentralised money:

Minds and perception changes over time.

We are still so early.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Saw the buzz around the article yesterday on Twitter. Who would have thought that the "politest" nation in the world will be the wake-up call against tyranny...

You would also think that this is the tipping point. The government literally stated that every Canadian that thinks differently should not be given the freedom of choice. They are implementing the social credit score and just because they are giving it different names people don't seem to have a problem with it.

Feels more true with every passing day.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

So sad watching our societies getting further divided down bullshit political lines.

And once the other half of politics are elected next election, we will see the same terrorism claims happening on the other side.

So disillusioning.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Do you know what else if for criminals and terrorists?

  • Cash
  • Credit
  • Electricity
  • Food
  • Water
  • ...

You get the picture. Crypto is a tool, as is nearly everything we use or consume. Crypto is as good or as bad as the person using it.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Hey, don't shoot the messenger! ;)

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

LOL, not at all! I'm just saying that when people say that "something" is used by or is for undesirables that means they are mistaken.

It's like saying that ballet can't be used by martial artists either before or after the advent of Mixed Martial Arts. Look no further than Jean-Claude Van Damme before he hit the big-time with Bloodsport.

It's also like Star Wars fans saying that only Sith and other Dark Siders use Force Lightning; that's simply not true, even if we haven't seen examples of Light Siders using Force Lightning. They're going to say that a Jedi Master the caliber of Yoda doesn't know how to use Force Lightning?

When people say that something is "used by" or "is for" criminals and terrorists, that person has a hidden agenda. We can use anything, even if it seems unconventional or unexpected for us to use that thing.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

I think HIVE is on trend with the market with the current world conditions, but still showing strength.

I've been looking at the documentation at Cub Defi for putting CUB into Kingdoms, and it's not clear to me what I need to do. It seems to assume that other things were done first before Kingdome could be used.

I have liquid CUB in my wallet and a bit of over 0.05 BNB to handle fees. I want to put my liquid CUB into Kingdoms, but it looks as if I have to stake the CUB first. That seems to mean to me that I need to put liquid CUB into Farms first in order to stake the CUB. (I think Dens are for liquidity pools, which is what I was going to do originally.)

So there's no way I can move liquid CUB directly to Kingdoms, right? I need to put the CUB in some Farm first before I move it into Kindoms?

I think I can figure out the mechanics of moving handling wallets and contracts (which look like wallet addresses), but it looks as if I'm not in a position to use Kingdoms yet, that I need to do Farms first. Please clarify.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

No, you should be able to move it straight into the CUB Kingdom, if you're pooling it as a single asset.

Have you approved the contract for the kingdom already? That's something you need to do before you can add CUB to it

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

My MetaMask wallet is connected to Cub DeFi, but when I click
the Approve Contract button where it says Deposit (Staked) nothing happens.

Am I supposed to click the Approve Contract button where it says Balance (Wallet) instead, and later I click
the Approve Contract button where it says Deposit (Staked)?

I have the Kingdom Contract number, so if nothing happens I will send CUB directly to the contract using MetaMask.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Ignore the farm.

If you have liquid CUB, click Kingdoms, approve the contract and then deposit.

That's it.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

I clicked the Approve Contract button for Deposit (Staked); nothing happened. If anything happened, it was not indicated in any way. Bad UX is killing the experience for me.

As a test I sent 0.45 CUB ftom my MetaMask wallet to the address of the Kingdom Contract. BSCScan shows that my 0.45 CUB arrived at the address for the Kingdom Contract.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Hmm sorry mate, I'm not sure what is happening.

Just keep trying to refresh and clear browser history etc.

Placing your liquid CUB in the Kingdom should really be as simple as pressing the deposit button.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

I cleared out the cache and restarted the web browser; problem persists.

I'll try it with a web browser I rarely use and install the wallet there. I may need to switch to a different wallet such as TrustWallet or whatever else accepts BSC and CUB.

If I can't do it the easy way, I'll do it the hard way once I figure it out.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

UPDATE--

The connection between the MetaMask wallet and cubdefi.com needs to go both ways. MetaMask showed the it was connected to cubdefi.com. For reasons which escape me, cubdefi.com wasn't connecting to the MetaMask wallet.

This morning I restarted the computer and web browser. This time the CONNECT button changed from the word "Connect" to the partial MetaMask wallet address. When I noticed this, I was able to stake my CUB as you and @tokenizedsociety had indicated. Thanks for your help; I can confirm what you said yesterday is what is supposed to happen.

The Twitter alternative is already on Hive: https://inji.com/.
with the look and feel of very much like Twitter. Check it out and tell what you think about it.

I haven't used it yet.

A few questions:

  1. Do 'tweets' show up as posts on your Hive blog, thus triggering autovotes.

  2. Can you only post once a day?

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Do 'tweets' show up as posts on your Hive blog, thus triggering autovotes.

Yes, They do.

Can you only post once a day

Yes, at the moment looks like you can post only once per day. I have no idea what their future plans are.

Update - it looks like the one post-a-day restriction is only for new accounts. Now I am able to post more than one post within 24 hours.

Thanks for the update mate.

I'm going to give the front-end a go.
